    so.... it's been a while

    Hey all... hat-in-hands moment... I am so sorry for not posting anything about the break I've been on... but sadly I'm still figuring out how to navigate this podcast with the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes still ongoing... the long and short of it is, I'm no longer going to be putting out the content I've been putting out. I hope to get back to it soon. But until the writers and actors are given what they deserve, I have to stand in solidarity with them for a number of reasons... I hope this short listen provides some answers and solace.     CASTLEVANIA, Season 2, Episodes 1-2

    I still can't believe we're already on season 2... this show flies by quicker than a night creature! In this episode, different players within Dracula's court continue their own schemes, Sypha says goodbye to her family, and Trevor decides it's time to revisit what remains of his.     CASTLEVANIA, Season 1, Episodes 3-4

    We're already.... on the finale? Yes, that's right. The shortest first season of all time draws to a close today as our main trio rounds out with the additions of Sypha and Alucard to the gang, at long last. Trevor's gonna have companionship whether he likes it or not. Meanwhile, the city of Gresit grapples with the impending attack of Dracula's horde, Trevor re-learns what it really means to be a Belmont, and we finally learn the truth about that silly prophecy.     CASTLEVANIA, Season 1, Episodes 1-2

    It's finally time to talk about my favorite bisexual vampires! Let's dive into the first two episodes of the very short first season of Netflix's Castlevania. All these episodes really do is serve as introductions for our antagonist and protagonist (one of them, anyway) and set the stage for what the rest of this series is going to be about. We're going all the way back to the 15th century for this one, in a world where monsters ran rampant across eastern Europe and women were persecuted by religious figures for practicing medicine. So, like the actual 15th century, but with a lot more literal demons from hell. It's kinda hard to tell the difference between them and the church sometimes, though.     Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is BRILLIANT - Review & Thoughts

    SPOILERS FOR SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE Well, y'all, Sony has done it again... giving us the two BEST Spidey movies in the first two entries to the Spider-Verse saga was never something I would've imagined, and yet here they are. In a word, Across the Spider-Verse is, a masterpiece; whatever criticisms I might have are so minor they are hardly worth mentioning. I absolutely adore these films, and this most recent entry solidifies that even more. From breathtaking, artistically audacious animation, to heartwarming, tear-inducing moments of true connection between the characters, I simply could not ask for more. Starting the countdown to Beyond the Spider-Verse now.     Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3: Discussion & Review

    The long-awaited Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 coverage is here at last!
