    027 - Army Of Darkness - A Final Girl Isekai’s Into King Arthur’s Court

    Army of Darkness is the reverse Kate and Leopold. Is it a good movie or do we just hold nostalgia in our hearts? No, it is a GREAT movie.  We’re putting this podcast into hibernation for a bit, but we had to do this one. This weird, hard to market mess that flopped. We ask the brave questions: is Army of Darkness an Isekai? Has Covid made Tyler stupider? Why do bros like Donnie Darko so much?     On Gaston! On Tiboy! Alcee! Nanette! Thaaaat’s right ho ho hooooo we’re talking the 2022 hallmark Christmas movie called My Southern Family Christmas. Joining us is Pixie (@firstorderpixie).  Do you decorate for Christmas? Nate doesn’t. It’s a waste of effort. No hanging of the Christmas balls (ornaments?). We bandy about the bayou and learn about Louisiana Christmas. It’s wild. Meet the Christmas icon, Pere Noel. Meet his brother, The Whipping Father.  WE ALSO DRINK THE LEMONADE THAT KILLS YOU!! This stupid hallmark movie is surprisingly watchable. It’s not good but it’s effective. Check it out maybe.

    Did you know that sometimes when an Elvis talks about their rod, their prick, their worm that they’re really talking about their virility and zeal for life? Who knew! The makers of BUBBA HOTEP knew. That’s right, boils and ghouls, we’re watching the 2004 Bruce masterpiece. We got Werner Herzog action figures. We got a condemnation of retirement homes. We got a black JFK. We got some words of power from our book of magic. We got the creeping lamentations that life is impermanent and one day we may recoil into a hive of regret and loss and pain. We got it all! So won’t you come down down down by the river with us. Watch Bubba Hotep on prime.

    024 - Black Friday - Power Word: GAY ft Keither

    Have you worked retail? Do you know what it is to toil in the mines of CUSTOMER SERVICE? If you don’t, we probably don’t trust you. The Bruce C Boys are joined by Keither to recount tales from their tour of duty in the Retail Wars. Because it is a war. It’s your dignity versus the consumer.  So we’re talking about the movie BLACK FRIDAY. A movie with a fantastic idea that just falls apart under the service of being a Divorced Dads Rights movie. Did you that divorced dads are the coolest and hottest people on the planet?  You can rent Black Friday on prime. It’s on crackle. But also you can just get it via extralegal means, if ya nasty.  But also this movie is only 87 minutes long. It’s awash in libertarian politics (aka right wing identity crap) and would have you believe that soy boys and kids are just too sensitive today and that what the young girl at work really wants is to bang the 50 year old divorced guy. So watch out for that, if you’re nasty.

    We got a man with two brains over here! Joining us with a 3rd brain is Dean (@Tier1Diabetic). Dean and Tyler have a storied past that is finally made public. And we are discussing MAN WITH THE SCREAMING BRAIN. Are you a Michael Clayton head? Nate is. White people have been a plague on the world. They should be kept in a zoo. This movie backs into some strong criticism of capitalism.  We recommend MAN WITH THE SCREAMING BRAIN. It can be streamed on Amazon prime. However, that version is edited. Go get the dvd or whatever.  Keep in mind this movie was an intrusive thought that Bruce Campbell spent decades trying to make. This is Killers of the Flower Moon. So uhhhh yeah.
