Despite this, it remains a critical platform for marketers due to its large user base. Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri has shared the platform's three key priorities for 2023. Inspire people to be creative. Instagram plans to focus on inspiring creativity and visual customization in the coming year, with a particular emphasis on AR creation and integrating 3D objects and experiences into the app. This is in line with parent company Facebook's vision of building a metaverse and Instagram is seen as a key platform for connecting with and guiding creators toward multi-dimensional creation. The company plans to add more tools related to AR and VR in order to facilitate simplified 3D creation and stay competitive in this emerging field. Help people discover things they love. Instagram is trying to shift user behavior towards a TikTok-like experience that highlights the best content from across the app based on user interests, rather than focusing on posts from people and profiles that the user follows. This shift has not been smooth and has raised questions about the need for a feed algorithm. Instagram CEO Mark Zuckerberg has stated that he expects content delivered via Instagram's AI recommendation engine to more than double by the end of 2023. There is a possibility that this approach will be extended to Instagram Stories as well. However, the article notes skepticism about whether this will be successful. Spark Connections between people.
