Tilly's Trans Tuesdays

After listening to the most recent episode, it suddenly occurred to me that this show is one of the most important things in my life. Whether you’re trans or cis, gay or straight, gendered or not, fluid or set, or whatever kind of queer or not-queer you are, please listen to this show. You will have an excellent understanding of the trans experience, what we are, and what we’re not. It tells the truth about the threats and very real dangers we face every day and is a guide on how to protect us. Because we need your help.

I’m a single parent of a trans daughter without a ton of community. Tilly’s podcast approaches difficult topics with empathy and passion. I use her shows as a jumping off point for conversations with my kid, and she helps me feel more connected to the trans community as a whole. I cannot thank her enough for the work she’s doing for all of us, cis and trans.

I listen every week. It’s nice to have a podcast with representation that I can identify with. So many LGBT podcasts these days only last a few episodes, glad this one has stuck around. Keep up the good work.

Tilly, Susan and guests tackle a different subject each Tuesday and as a trans woman, I’ve found it to be a thoughtful, friendly and insightful listen. It regularly leads me to consider things I hadn’t before and learn more about myself. I’d definitely recommend it to families and friends of trans people as well. Even if you’re not trans, give it a listen for some great insight into what being trans is like, the challenges and joys we face in our daily and inner lives, and how you can be a positive ally for us!
