    The Blessings of Redemption

What if you truly understood everything God has already given you in Christ? In this message, Pastor Nathan Ogden walks through Ephesians 1 and explores **“The Blessings of Redemption”**—the astonishing reality that God has already provided every spiritual blessing necessary for the believer through Jesus Christ. Paul says that God “has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.” That means the Christian life is not a spiritual “pay to play” system. We are not purchasing God’s favor, buying our blessing, or earning what Christ has already purchased with His blood. ✝️ **Christ has already paid the price.** This message examines: • The vastness of what Christ has accomplished through the gospel and the cross • Ephesians 1 and the believer’s identity and inheritance in Christ • God’s choice, adoption, redemption, forgiveness, and grace • The truth that everything pertaining to life and godliness has already been provided through Christ • Why believers should never treat giving as a spiritual stock exchange • The difference between giving because we love God and giving in order to get something from God • Why “pay to play” teaching concerning healing, blessing, salvation, prophetic words, or spiritual benefits is a false gospel • Why Christians give, serve, minister, disciple, and love the body of Christ • The call to move beyond a “Sunday morning only” Christianity • Why the gospel—not signs, wonders, gifts, or spectacular experiences—is the main thing • Why Jesus Christ must remain the center and receive all the glory The message also challenges the church to take its eyes off itself and put them on Jesus. Prophecy is not merely meant to move us emotionally—it should move us to action. The church is called to obedience, sanctification, unity, humility, gospel proclamation, discipleship, and genuine love for one another. There is also a strong warning against confusing spiritual giving with purchasing God’s favor. As Pastor Nathan puts it, **“You don't give to get things. God himself has already provided through Christ for you. You give to be like Christ.”** 📖 **Primary Scriptures:** Ephesians 1 Romans 8:32 2 Peter 1:2–3 Matthew 6:19–21 John 14:15 The central question is not, *“What do I need to pay for?”* but rather: **What has Christ already accomplished, freely given, and provided for me—and how should I now live in response to His grace?** Take time to read Ephesians 1 for yourself. Study it. Meditate on it. Let the Holy Spirit open the eyes of your understanding to what God has already revealed in His Word. The sermon specifically calls believers to return to Scripture and understand the riches of what they have received through Christ. 🙏 If this message encourages or challenges you, **like the video, leave a comment, share it with someone who needs to hear it, and subscribe** to the channel for more biblical teaching from His Place House of Worship. 📍 **His Place House of Worship** 🌐 hisplacewp.org ▶️ Subscribe: **@hisplacewp** #BlessingsOfRedemption #Ephesians1 #Redemption #Gospel #JesusChrist #Grace #Salvation #ChristianTeaching #BiblicalTruth #EverySpiritualBlessing #ChristianGiving #Discipleship #HolySpirit #HisPlaceHouseOfWorship

God the Father - His Place Statement of Faith

A Bigger View of God: Faith, Sovereignty, Providence & Knowing God the Father What if your biggest struggle with faith isn’t that you have too little faith—but that you have too small a view of God? In this powerful biblical teaching, we explore who God is, what God is like, and how our understanding of God shapes our faith, suffering, salvation, prayer, and relationship with Him. Scripture must be the foundation for what we believe about God. Our experiences matter, but our experiences must always be measured against the truth God has revealed through His Word. We examine the attributes of God, including His sovereignty, providence, eternality, holiness, justice, mercy, love, and grace. More than simply understanding God as an all-powerful Creator, we consider what it means to know Him as a personal Father who calls, redeems, and adopts His people through Jesus Christ. A Too-Small View of God One of the central challenges of this teaching is recognizing that we may not have a faith problem—we may have a God problem because our understanding of Him is too small. When circumstances become overwhelming, it is easy to focus on what we can see instead of the God who created all things, sustains all things, and works according to His purposes. The story of Joseph in Genesis gives us a powerful picture of the providence of God. Joseph could not see the entire picture while he was living through betrayal, slavery, injustice, and suffering. Yet God was working through circumstances that were ultimately accomplishing His purposes. What Is Biblical Faith? We also examine what the Bible actually teaches about faith in God. Faith is not a force we accumulate. It isn't something we store up or use to make circumstances happen. Biblical faith has an object: God Himself. Our confidence is not ultimately found in how strong our faith feels. Our confidence rests in the character, faithfulness, power, and promises of God. The stronger our understanding of God becomes, the more clearly we can see why He is worthy of our trust. Questions to Consider ✝️ Is my understanding of God shaped by Scripture or by my experiences and preferences? 📖 Am I allowing God's Word to define who God truly is? 🙏 Is my faith actually in God—or am I putting my faith in faith? 🌎 What does God's sovereignty mean when I face suffering, uncertainty, or circumstances I cannot understand? ❤️ Do I understand God as a loving Father who has adopted me through Christ? 🔥 How does knowing God's character change the way I live, pray, trust, and persevere? Ultimately, this teaching is an invitation to know God more deeply, see Him more clearly, and trust Him more completely. There is no limit to the riches of God's character. We can spend a lifetime studying who God is and never exhaust the greatness of His being. But the more clearly we see who God is, the more confidently we can trust Him. God is greater than your circumstances, greater than your fears, and greater than the limitations of your understanding. 📖 “For God who said, ‘Light shall shine out of darkness,’ is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.” — 2 Corinthians 4:6 If this teaching encourages or challenges you, like, comment, share, and subscribe so others can discover these biblical teachings. 🌐 His Place House of Worship hisplacewp.org Connect With His Place House of Worship Facebook Instagram X / Twitter Topics Covered God the Father • Knowing God • Attributes of God • Doctrine of God • Biblical Theology • Sovereignty of God • Providence of God • Christian Faith • Biblical Faith • Faith in God • Suffering and God's Sovereignty • Adoption in Christ • Salvation • God's Character • God's Love • God's Holiness • God's Grace • Sound Doctrine • Scripture • Jesus Christ • Christian Teaching #GodTheFather #KnowingGod #AttributesOfGod #SovereigntyOfGod #ProvidenceOfGod #ChristianFaith #BiblicalFaith #BiblicalTheology #SoundDoctrine #JesusChrist #ChristianTeaching #Scripture #FaithInGod #HisPlaceHouseOfWorship

The Single Sufficient Sacrifice for Salvation | Christ Alone, Once for All

The central burden of this sermon by Pastor Nathan Ogden is unmistakable: our salvation does not rest on our ability to keep ourselves saved—it rests on the finished work of Jesus Christ. The message begins by calling the church back to the central and preeminent reality of Christianity: Jesus Christ and His gospel. Spiritual gifts, theology, doctrine, signs and wonders, and other aspects of Christian life are important, but they are not the crux of the issue. The gospel must remain central. From Hebrews 10, this sermon examines the single sufficient sacrifice of Jesus Christ and what His finished work means for the believer. The repeated biblical emphasis is that Christ offered Himself “once for all,” and that His one offering is sufficient for all time. The message also addresses one of the most important distinctions in the Christian life: condemnation versus conviction. The Holy Spirit convicts believers and leads them toward repentance and holiness, but the believer does not have to live under continual condemnation and fear that God has abandoned them. Pastor Nathan also explains the distinction between salvation, justification, and progressive sanctification. We participate in sanctification as God works in us, but our salvation and justification are the work of Christ alone. Our obedience does not complete Christ's sacrifice; rather, sanctification flows from the salvation we have received. The sermon ultimately calls us to stop placing our confidence in our emotions, our performance, or our ability to keep ourselves—and instead place our confidence in the Word of God and the finished work of Jesus Christ. As the message declares, if we think our failures mean we must continually be “resaved,” we have failed to understand the power of the blood of Jesus. The church needs the gospel—not merely the lost. 📖 Key Scriptures: Hebrews 10 Romans 8 Romans 11:29 Romans 12:1–2 Romans 13 Romans 3 Romans 6:18 John 10:27–30 Philippians 2 Colossians 1:13–14 2 Timothy 🔥 Key themes: • The sufficiency and totality of Christ • Salvation by grace through faith • The finished work of Jesus Christ • Justification and sanctification • Eternal security and assurance • Condemnation vs. conviction • The power of the blood of Jesus • The authority of Scripture • The gospel as the center of the Christian life • Holiness, repentance, obedience, and spiritual maturity If you have ever struggled with the fear that you have failed God so badly that you are no longer accepted by Him, this message is intended to point your eyes away from yourself and back to Jesus Christ, the author and perfecter of our faith. The final declaration of the sermon is a powerful one: our security and eternal destination are not based upon us, but upon the finished work of Jesus Christ. 🙏 If this message encourages you, like this video, leave a comment, share it with someone who needs to hear the gospel, and subscribe for more biblical teaching and preaching from His Place House of Worship. 🌐 His Place House of Worship: http://www.hisplacewp.org ▶️ Subscribe: @hisplacewp #JesusChrist #Gospel #Salvation #FinishedWorkOfChrist #ChristAlone #Hebrews10 #Grace #Justification #Sanctification #EternalSecurity #Christianity #BiblicalTeaching #HisPlace #HolySpirit #Faith
