We discuss our point of view on the impact that movies and music had in our lives and the impact that it had as we traverse thru the decades. From the early years in the 50's with Elvis, Chuck Berry and Chubby Checker we have stories, opinions and conversations about how we experienced the growth of music/movies and how it shaped our views to where we are today.

There are Stories to tell and the Guys will cover and discuss the beginnings and the careers of some of the greatest influencers throughout ALL of the entertainment industry. Today's Podcast will cover 2 musical influencers. "Blood, Sweat & Tears" (BS&T) with David Clayton Thomas and "Village People" with Victor Willis were two unique and talented groups.  With the powerful vocals lead by Thomas, BS&T is a "Blues, Rock" combination Group with great songs and classically trained musicianship with over 40 Million Records sold worldwide. With the strong and rock solid voice of Willis, Village People had a long career and some of the best selling songs back in the late 1970's which included the Disco era. Also sold over 65 Million Records worldwide! Listen is as we honor Thomas and Willis, whom with their recent passings, deserve their place in music history lore. Back in the 1950's and early 1960's when Rock and Roll was just in its infancy there was a famous NYC location that housed some of the best up and coming talent in the Music Industry. These people were songwriters, publishers, arrangers, producers and Record Label A&R personnel along with aspiring artists. The location off Broadway in Manhattan was called The "Brill Building" and featured many music legends in the making.  On today's Podcast we introduce you to 2 of the best ever singer songwriters of all time........Welcome Neil Sedaka & Neil Diamond! Sedaka & Diamond  were accomplished writers at the time and they were responsible for countless Pop hits that made many an artist music stars.  Listen in as we cover and discuss these "Brill Building" geniuses and their impact on the Music Business as singer songwriters with HOF Careers in Writing and Performing.
