I share my experiences with mental health, psychosis and recovery. I suffered from long spells of anxiety and depression before my psychotic break. And before my psychotic break, I had an episode of delusional paranoia. Although I was diagnosed with a drug induced psychosis, my symptoms matched the criteria for schizophrenia according to the DSM 5. My psychiatrist told me it would take me 3 years to recover and that I would have a 50% chance of recovery. I managed to recover in 6 months through consistently learning and experimenting with these techniques.
