Ask Adam Why did it take exactly three days for Jesus’s resurrection. And why was he only given 40 days to walk on earth with his disciples and to preach the gospel before returning to heaven?  In Mark 9: 49 Jesus is teaching His disciples, warns them of he'll and says everyone will be salted with fire. What does he mean? Is he talking about the fire of hell or the fire of the holy spirit, or something else? - Leslie  How does one reconcile Jesus’s statement of having only one commandment, “love one another”… vs the many written instructions from the Apostle Paul on how to live appropriately on the day-to-day like: put on the whole armor of God, pray without ceasing, avoid laziness, do everything decently in and in order … etc. With Jesus it seems all is settled with love - but with Paul painting the portrait Christianity seems like a lot of work!  Q for Pastor Jessica - How have you been able to stay home and raise 7 children in the Valley? In the book of exodus why did god purposely hardened pharaoh’s heart when it came to letting the Israelites go even after pharaoh was shown gods power with all the different plagues that took place?  Are the laws that God wrote in the book of exodus specifically books 21-23 are those considered to be outdated laws or are those still applied to today seeing how they talk about how to treat Israel slaves and ownership over different animals like donkeys and oxen. What caused the devil to turn against god. And how can a divine being like Lucifer feel the need to rebel and commit sin even though he was an angel does this mean that even divine beings like angels have similar emotions and characteristics like humans? What do you think of the theory that the serpent beasts in the ocean mentioned in the bible or in some translations “dragons” are the dinosaur bones that archeologists have found seeing that we have found some aquatic dinosaur bones? Ask Adam Anything… Is gambling a sin? - Carrie from Morgan hill Should minors do ministry? Shouldn’t those of age be performing ministry? - From Coleen To you, what’s the difference between letting go and trusting God (and moving on in your prayer life to other things in confidence God has the situation), and letting the enemy win out of exhaustion in prayer and just “giving in to him”?

Ask Adam About the Bible In the book of Daniel, after they were sent to Babylon, we learn that some Israelites were given new names by the Babylonian officials. Daniel was given the name Belteshazzar; Hananiah, Shadrach; Mishael, Meshach; and Azariah, Abednego. But for the rest of the book Daniel is referred to by his original name but the other are always refer to by they Babylonian names. Why do you believe this was done? - Ryan (APP) Hello guys, What are your thoughts on 1 Samuel 28:1-25? Where Saul uses a medium to talk with Samuel. Did God allow a medium to summon Samuel? Mediums and necromancers were strictly forbidden… it’s part of the Law of Moses… Saul even kicked them out of the land. For a medium to Summon a major prophet as Samuel… what’s going on here? Thanks - Brandon G (APP) During the Christmas Eve candlelight you mentioned about the ironies of Jesus… any other examples? - Brian from San Martin You called the dead sea scrolls the biggest archeological find of the 20th century … what would you say is the biggest of the 21st century? - Chris from the bridge Hello all, Can you please explain modalism and why it’s considered heresy and wrong? Thank you. - Brandon G (APP) (the doctrine that the persons of the Trinity represent only three modes or aspects of the divine revelation, not distinct and coexisting persons in the divine nature.) Can you please explain the theology of Glory vs. the theology of the cross. I came across this topic a few times and don't quite understand it. Thanks - Brandon G (APP) Ask Adam Anything What is your thought on keeping the ashes of your loved one in your home. I read that it doesn’t release them to cross over ? - Rudy (APP) What is the age of accountability? - Mr. Bear (APP) Are Roman Catholics saved? - Jay  When prepping a sermon is more time spent in prayer or study? - Jake from old jubilee Why don’t pastors visit jails more? - Teri My husband & I have different faith/beliefs and can never find common ground… any suggestions? - Anonymous What’s with the Jewish calendar … is it still used and why? - Briana Romero

Ask Adam About the Bible Do you think The Book of Revelation or any of the New Testament was written after 70 AD, after Harod’s Temple and Jerusalem were destroyed? - Ryan (Nov) Why in the beginning of the Bible is the devil considered a serpent and in the end he is a dragon? Could it be he has been eating from the dust of the Earth like he was cursed to do? What’s your take? - Isaiah We know at least one of the disciples' deaths was not cannon - how are their deaths confirmed? - Sam Why did God choose Saul to be king of Israel when he’d know Saul would fail? - Stephen (Nov) Even though I believe that water baptism is a big part of our walk with the Lord, There are several scriptures that tell us that John baptized in water unto repentance , but Jesus came to Baptize us with the Holy Ghost and fire. In Ephesians it tells us there is one Lord, one Faith, one baptism. What is the one baptism, The one from John or Jesus? I’m not disputing water baptism, just curious. - Dorothy, App Of the 2 gospels that chronicle the Xmas story which do you give more credence to?? - Jon from San Antonio (Dec) In honor of the Christmas Season, I have a question about a prophecy of Jesus from Isaiah 9:6. I think that part of the reason that the jewish people do not believe Jesus is the Messiah is the part that says, “and the government shall be upon his shoulder…” they believe the Messiah will be a military leader or king. What do you believe was meant by this passage about the government on his shoulders? - Ryan (Dec) Ask Adam Anything How does one know what gift of the spirit you possess ? - Tammy (Nov) Why do serious diseases seem to be on the rise? We seem to know more & are health conscious and better medicines & doctors etc… - Benjamin (Nov) Where do you or your church stand on the issue of pastors running for political office? - Sarah (Nov) Do you believe the current pope is used by God?? - Felix from Laredo (Dec)

BIBLE 101 = Foundational Beliefs Do you think we’re at end time? Cause I don’t believe we are. I know scripture says people will flip good for bad and vice versa and natural disasters and children disobeying their parents like my grandfather told me about all this but I don’t believe that’s now. There’s still a lot of “ good”. Like I don’t see all that stuff happening as much, like yes it’s happening but what do you think? - Bri What is the historical significance of changing a name in the Bible: Abram to Abraham, Saul to Paul, Simon the Peter - etc Maddo & Why did or who gave Saul of Tarsus the name Paul? - Joe I just finished reading most of the New Testament and I am a little bit confused. No where did the New Testament command Christians to tithe 10 percent; instead, it emphasizes generous, voluntary giving according to one's means. While Jesus mentioned the Pharisees' tithing under the Old Covenant, the New Testament's call for giving is based on cheerful, sacrificial, and proportional giving, not a legalistic 10% rule. New Testament passages like 1 Corinthians 16:2 and 2 Corinthians 8:3 encourage giving "as he may prosper" and "according to their means," allowing for amounts both more and less than 10%. So why is it always said that we “must” give 10% of it referring to the old covenant law? - Anonymous SALVATION: I recently read that if you are not saved, you cannot call God (Father) when you pray. What is your opinion on this !!! - Rudy  I watched online & was wondering why you were referring to greatest conversions and not salvations? - Terrence  ASK ADAM Anything… questions > PART 2 LEADERSHIP: What is the best way to go about finding yourself a mentor? And is a mentor something you are only called to, or for everyone? - Josh Welch  CURRENT EVENTS: How/Why is it ok to celebrate “Halloween”? What is your take?  Why did the Israeli govt refer to president trump as Cyrus the great ? - Ricky

    Episode 10

    >> What was the first word ever spoken? - Nessy >> Are there some holy ones who go around, observe humans and pass judgements or decrees. The way it’s written it cannot be God else I would have expected it to be written as ‘Holy One’ instead of ‘holy one’. Neither does it sound like an Angel. Who is this ‘watcher’ , ‘holy one’ mentioned in Daniel 4:13 and again in 23. - Ps Isaac >> In Daniel 4:8 we see that Daniel comes before the king the last to interpret the dream. The preceding 2 verses says the other wise men came before the king and verse 4 says Daniel came before the king last. Since the Bible spends 3 verses defining the oder in which Daniel came before the king, it got me thinking.. Seeing how Daniel proved himself in Chap 2, should he not been called in first? Since it uses the word "came in" does it mean there were other people deciding the order of who goes before the king. Like there will be a team in White House who decide the President's Schedule to the minute. Maybe there was jealously involved in King’s palace that they pushed Daniel to the last. Or the king thought since he tells the dream this time, his own people can solve the problem instead of Daniel who worships a diff God. - Pastor Isaac >> What a joy it was to be in the service today to not only see a couple of dozen people baptized, but to hear your anointed sermon on baptism. I particularly love the quote from Vern Owens, “water baptism is the gate that opens everything else.” Here’s my question: why did the Jews come for baptism by John the Baptist? What was the meaning of it to them? Was baptism something that was customary in the Jewish faith at that time? I don’t find any reference to water baptism in the Old Testament and would like to have a fuller understanding of Christian baptism. - Paul Mayes Sent from my iPhone >> With recent discoveries in and along the Galilee are there new things that could be found that relate back directly to the life of Jesus?? - From Rica >> When God spoke to Adam in Genesis what language was used? - From Carmen >> When the Bible talks about Jesus being led into the wilderness - do you believe this wilderness was a literal dry barren desert type wilderness? Or could he have been just sent out from God’s people to the lost and unsaved? the “wilderness”? I’m assuming when the Bible talks about John being a voice crying out in the wilderness, it isn’t literal otherwise what would be the point of crying out - since no one would have been around to hear him? - Jessica >> How is it possible for a terrible thing like an assassination to happen to a God fearing man when scripture says, “no weapon formed against us shall prosper?”
