He recently finished starring in the world premiere of a play in New York called "Living and Breathing."     Tonight, world-famous author and progenitor of the word "groupie" PAMELA DES BARRES joins BD Freeman to discuss her wild times hanging out with the biggest rock bands in the world! First she explains the term, dispels some notorious connotations and talks about the difference between a "groupie" and a "fan. She takes the audience on a wild ride through growing up in the 60's, hanging out on the Sunset Strip at age 16, and how she got involved with some of the greatest rock acts in history! From getting the "groupie bug" by seeing Elvis on TV to trying to meet the Beatles, she finally got her break meeting Captain Beefheart and Frank Zappa. From there she goes into hanging out with Jim Morrison, dating Jimmy Page, and appearing in Jimi Hendrix' first two music videos. She also goes on to explain the "love ins" of the 60's, to B.D.'s confusion! Finally, he breaks out his amazing vintage acoustic guitar and treats us to a performance of his song "SUMMER SEQUENCE" One of the original British bad boys, also talks about growing up in the 60's during the peak of the rock era, touring with the ROLLING STONES at age 15, and being one of the most sought-after singers in England. Along with some hilarious stories, he tells of how a single phone call set the proverbial stone rolling toward the creation of LED ZEPPELIN, and appearing in the famous documentary "GROUPIES" along with PAMELA DES BARRES, who happens to be in the audience tonight!
