Words From The Word Of God

Evangelist Jeff Thomas

A topical, and expositional study from the Word of God, in order to Glorify and  Exalt our Great God and our Savior Jesus Christ; that we may reach the world with the Gospel, and grow in the Grace and knowledge of Him.. Grace and Peace to all, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.(Isaiah 52:7) "How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth!"(Isaiah 55 10-11) 10) "For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:"11) "So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."(John 3:16)“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”(John 14:1-7) 1)"Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me."2)"In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you."3)"And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."4)And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know."5)"Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way?"6)"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."7)"If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him."(Romans 10 :9-10;13) 9)"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."10)"For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."13)"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."All Done For The Glory Of God and To Exalt Jesus Christ The Lord!!!

The Abundant Mercy Of God In 1 Peter 1:3

Send us Fan Mail Praise comes first when you finally understand where salvation really starts. We’re continuing our series Receiving So Great a Salvation through 1 Peter 1:1–12, and we slow down on one packed verse that explains the whole flow of the Christian life: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead” (1 Peter 1:3).  We talk through why Peter doesn’t open with analysis but with a doxology, and why that instinct is a mark of a redeemed heart. Then we press into the source behind every blessing in Christ: the abundant mercy of God. We define mercy biblically, connect it to the Father’s heart, and show why salvation by grace can never be self-produced, purchased, or earned by moral improvement.  From there, we follow what mercy accomplishes: the new birth. Using John 3, we explain what it means to be born again, why “whosoever” makes the gospel personal, and how the living hope of the believer is anchored in one unshakable reality: the resurrection of Jesus Christ. If you’re a believer under pressure, this is meant to steady you; if you’re not yet saved, it’s a direct invitation to repent and believe.  Subscribe for the rest of the 1 Peter series, share this with someone who needs real hope, and leave a review so more people can find the message. What phrase from 1 Peter 1:3 do you want us to unpack next? John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." The Setting Of Salvation

Send us Fan Mail You can be surrounded by people and still feel like you don’t belong. Peter names that experience right away, calling believers “strangers scattered,” and then he does something powerful: he anchors our confidence in salvation where circumstances can’t touch it. We begin a new series, Receiving So Great a Salvation, by camping in 1 Peter 1:1-2 and letting those few lines carry their full weight.  We walk through the “setting of salvation” and why Christian identity comes before endurance. Then we trace the coordinated work of the Trinity in a clear, biblical order: the Father elects according to foreknowledge, the Spirit sanctifies and draws the heart, and the Son cleanses through the sprinkling of his blood. Along the way, we address common confusion about election and hell, and we talk honestly about what it means to live differently without pretending we live perfectly.  If you’ve ever believed you must clean yourself up before you can come to God, this message challenges that with gospel hope. It ends with an urgent invitation to be born again, reminding us that grace is the foundation and peace is the fruit. If this strengthened you, subscribe, share it with someone who feels far from God, and leave a review so more people can find this teaching. John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Jesus The Final Revelation

Send us Fan Mail God has spoken, and the claim of the Gospel of John is that He doesn’t whisper from a distance. He steps into our world in the Person of Jesus Christ. We return to the final message of our Without Excuse series and trace the line of God’s revelation to fallen humanity through creation, conscience, Scripture, and the Holy Spirit, then land where John lands: the final, decisive revelation is the Son. We build the message around John 20:30–31, John’s Spirit-given purpose statement for writing. Those words raise the questions that won’t leave us alone: Why is the Gospel written? Who is Jesus really? What does God require from me? What is at stake eternally? Along the way we connect Isaiah 45:21–22 with John’s call to believe, and we walk through Hebrews 1 and John 1 to show why Christianity stands or falls on the identity of Christ as the Word made flesh, fully God and fully man. Then we get painfully practical. Saving faith is not mental agreement, a church habit, or an emotional moment; it is a heart response that includes repentance and rests everything on Christ alone. We read Jesus’ own words from John 3:16–18, echo Peter’s blunt clarity in Acts 4:12, and open Ephesians 2:1–10 to underline salvation by grace through faith, not works. John’s closing phrase matters: life comes “through his name,” meaning Christ’s identity, authority, and finished saving work, not our performance. If you’re a believer, we’ll challenge where you place your assurance. If you’re unsure, we’ll ask you to face the real question: will you believe and have life through His name? A RAY OF LIGHT FROM THE WORD Psalm 27:1 And The Calm That Follows

Send us Fan Mail Fear has a way of shrinking your world fast. One bad phone call, one diagnosis, one temptation that won’t let go, and suddenly you’re bracing for the worst. We open Psalm 27:1 and let David’s words meet us where we actually live, not where we wish we lived. David is surrounded by danger, yet he speaks with a calm that doesn’t come from denial. It comes from knowing the Lord. We walk through the verse line by line: “The Lord is my light” means God brings guidance, truth, and safety when life feels dark and confusing. “My salvation” is not an abstract idea, but personal deliverance and rescue from a personal God. “The strength of my life” reminds us that stability isn’t produced by grit, courage, or resources, even when we’ve “handled hard things” before. Real strength is sustaining power from the Lord, the kind that keeps your feet under you when circumstances shift day to day. Then we sit with David’s two questions: “Whom shall I fear?” and “Of whom shall I be afraid?” That’s not hype. It’s the steady conclusion that if God is light, salvation, and strength, fear doesn’t get the last word. We also speak directly to anyone listening who doesn’t know Jesus Christ personally: the call is clear and urgent to repent and believe the gospel, trusting the risen Son of God who died for sinners and offers forgiveness today. If this devotional helps you, subscribe, share it with someone who needs steady hope, and leave a review so more people can find it. Understanding The Holy Spirit’s Role In Guiding Us Into All Truth

Send us Fan Mail What if the Bible doesn’t truly open until the Spirit does the opening? We take that question straight to John 16 and follow the thread through Genesis, Matthew, and Acts to see why the Holy Spirit is not an impersonal force but the divine person who convicts, guides, and glorifies Christ. Along the way, we trace the Trinity at work—Father, Son, and Spirit in creation, at the Jordan, and in the Great Commission—so we can understand how God reveals Himself and how His Word presses into our conscience with living power. We share how the Spirit brings the Word from page to heart: exposing sin, illuminating righteousness, and reminding us that judgment has already been pronounced on the prince of this world. Acts 5 confronts our easy evasions: to lie to the Holy Spirit is to lie to God. That moment in the early church shows the Spirit guarding holiness and reveals why His deity matters for everything—new birth, sanctification, assurance, and the church’s witness. If He were not God, He could not reveal God, regenerate the heart, or guide us into all truth. Because He is God, He speaks, teaches, comforts, can be grieved and resisted, and leads us to Jesus across Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation. This conversation turns practical and pastoral. We urge believers to yield—do not grieve Him with hidden sin, do not resist Him with pride, do not quench Him with distraction. Let Him confront, command, convict, and call, because the Spirit of God always leads to the Son of God, and the Son brings us to the Father. And if you’re searching or standing at the edge of faith, hear the invitation of grace: repentance is not self-cleaning; it is turning to Christ who saves by His cross and resurrection. Press play for a clear path to deeper surrender, a richer reading of Scripture, and a steadier walk in step with the Spirit. If this message strengthens you, subscribe, share it with a friend, and leave a review telling us how the Spirit is guiding you this week. The Word Of God Confronts The Soul And Leaves Nothing Hidden

Send us Fan Mail What if the page you’re reading is actually reading you? Today we open Hebrews 4:12–13 and trace how the Word of God moves from ink to incision—living and active, sharper than any two‑edged sword, and fully capable of reaching the motives we hide and the stories we tell ourselves. We talk candidly about the heart as Scripture defines it—the inner core of mind, will, emotions, and conscience—and why self‑deception is the most stubborn barrier to real change. As we walk phrase by phrase through the passage, we explore how the Bible makes surgical distinctions between outward actions and inward intent, “dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow.” That imagery isn’t harsh for the sake of it; it’s precise, like a careful operation that separates health from harm. Then comes the sobering turn: nothing is hidden from God’s sight. All things are naked and laid bare before the One to whom we must give account. For some that sounds daunting; for all of us it is clarifying. Accountability here isn’t abstract law—it’s personal. The God who speaks through Scripture is the God who knows us completely. But exposure is not the destination. We anchor the hard truth in good news: the same Word that confronts the soul points us to Christ, who bore what our exposure reveals and offers reconciliation by grace. We contrast the shifting counsel of culture with the steady light of Scripture—Psalm 119’s lamp for the next step and light for the path ahead. For pastors and parents, skeptics and saints, the takeaway is practical: stop dressing up the message and let the text do its work. Ask God to speak, listen with an open heart, and respond with repentance and faith that lead to a life aligned from the inside out. If this resonated, share it with someone who needs courage to face the truth, then subscribe, leave a review, and tell us: what verse has most read you this week? John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." How God Confirms Scripture: Breath, Unity, Prophecy, Preservation

Send us Fan Mail You don’t build a life on sand, and you don’t build faith on slogans. We open Scripture to ask a hard question with an honest lens: can the Bible be trusted, not just cherished? Starting with 2 Timothy 3 and 2 Peter 1, we trace a compelling line from divine inspiration to human authorship, from one unbroken story to fulfilled prophecies that met their mark in history. Together we unpack what God breathed means and why it matters for authority and confidence. We look at how holy men were carried by the Spirit, so the words we read are not private opinions but God’s revelation through real voices. The unity of sixty six books across fifteen centuries forms a single arc—creation to new creation, promise to fulfillment, the Lamb anticipated and the Lamb enthroned. Along the way, we note the grounding evidence of archaeology, geography, and historical touchpoints that keep this from drifting into myth. We also follow the thread of preservation through centuries of challenge and see the most personal confirmation of all: transformed lives. The word that pierces also heals, turning addicts sober, the angry gentle, the hopeless anchored. If you’re skeptical, bring your questions and test the claims. If you’re seeking, hear the clear invitation to be born again and step into a hope that holds when everything else shifts. Listen, share with someone who needs courage today, and if this conversation strengthens you, subscribe, leave a review, and tell us which confirmation spoke most to you. "GOD", WHO CANNOT LIE!!!"

Send us Fan Mail When everything around us shifts, the question that matters most is simple: what can we trust that will not move? We open Hebrews 6:16–18 and follow a clear thread—God’s unchanging character, His unbreakable promise, and His self-sworn oath—so listeners can trade fragile hopes for a firm anchor. I walk through how the ancient use of an oath becomes a gift of mercy to modern hearts: God doesn’t add weight to His word because He lacks credibility; He does it because we lack stability. Promise and oath, forged in the character of the God who cannot lie, become strong consolation for anyone who runs to Christ. We explore what Scripture means by the immutability of God’s counsel and why that matters for daily faith, cultural pressure, and personal doubt. If God does not change, His word does not update with the times; it remains settled in heaven. That claim is not cold doctrine but living comfort, reinforced by Jesus as the truth, the Spirit as truth, and the gospel as the word of truth. Along the way, we address the stakes: if God could lie, salvation would unravel and Scripture would collapse. Because He cannot, you can stand, repent, believe, and keep walking with confidence. The conversation moves from exposition to invitation. For seekers, we lay out the hope set before you—repentance, faith in Christ, and the certainty that whoever calls upon His name will be saved. For believers, we trace how this hope becomes an anchor of the soul, sure and steadfast, because our forerunner Jesus has gone before us. Stay to the end for a preview of what’s next as we examine how God has confirmed His word in history, prophecy, unity, and preservation. If this message steadied you, share it with a friend, subscribe for the next segment, and leave a review to help others find their anchor.
