    Hochschule zum Mitmachen – Regionale Projekte im Fokus

    In dieser Reihe dreht sich alles um Veränderung – in Gesellschaft, Wissenschaft und Wirtschaft. Wir hören von Menschen aus der Hochschule Rhein-Waal, die mit ihrer Arbeit Veränderungsprozesse anstoßen, dafür Menschen zusammenbringen und an konkreten Lösungen für die Herausforderungen unserer Zeit arbeiten. Gemeinsam überlegen wir, wie Veränderung gelingen kann – interdisziplinär, praxisnah und mit dem klaren Ziel, einen positiven Wandel in Gesellschaft und Umwelt zu gestalten. Begleiten Sie uns in das LeseLab, wo innovative Technologien die Lesemotivation von Kindern wecken, oder erfahren Sie, wie die Energiewende im deutsch-niederländischen Grenzraum mithilfe von Wasserstofftechnologien ganz praktisch gelingen kann. Wir werfen mit Expertinnen und Experten einen Blick auf die Folgen von Übertourismus und entdecken in Formaten wie „Create & Connect“, wie Bürgerinnen und Bürger in offenen Laboren der Hochschule Rhein-Waal selbst zu Innovationstalenten werden. Ob interaktive Klimaspaziergänge, interkulturelles Kochen oder die Entwicklung eines Wasserstoff-Minibaggers im Rahmen eines Makeathons – diese Reihe zeigt, wie vielfältig und greifbar die Zukunft der Region Niederrhein heute schon gestaltet wird. --- English Version --- This german-speaking series in is all about change—in society, science, and the economy. We hear from individuals at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences who are initiating change through their work, bringing people together, and developing concrete solutions to the challenges of our time. Together, we explore how change can succeed—in an interdisciplinary, practical way, and with the clear goal of shaping a positive transformation in our society and environment. Join us in the LeseLab (Reading Lab), where innovative technologies are sparking children's motivation to read, or discover how the energy transition in the German-Dutch border region can become a practical reality with the help of hydrogen technologies. Alongside experts, we examine the consequences of overtourism and, through formats like "Create & Connect," discover how citizens are becoming innovators themselves in the open labs at Rhine-Waal University. From interactive climate walks and intercultural cooking to the development of a hydrogen-powered mini-excavator during a Makeathon—this series demonstrates just how diverse and tangible the future of the Lower Rhine region is already becoming today.
