EP 161 | How to let the good thoughts in

In this episode, I’m talking about what to do when you find yourself in a funk and your brain seems to be defaulting to the negative. We all have periods where the good thoughts feel harder to access. You might notice yourself finding the but in everything, focusing on what isn’t working, or struggling to see the good that you know is still there. This isn’t about toxic positivity or forcing yourself to turn every hard thought into a happy one. Sometimes we need to sit in the hard emotions and let them be there. But there are also times when we need to intentionally create the space to let the good thoughts back in. In this episode, you’ll learn: - How to notice when your brain is defaulting to the negative - Why letting the good thoughts in sometimes needs to be an intentional choice - How changing your environment can help circuit break a funk - What to do when you notice yourself constantly thinking “yeah, but…” - How to create a moment where you intentionally focus on what is good - Why accessing the good doesn’t mean avoiding or dismissing the hard This episode is your reminder that you can be in a funk and still create space for the good. Sometimes you just need to change up the environment, slow down and intentionally remind your brain that the good thoughts are allowed in too. EP 160 | How to build shame resilience

In this episode, I’m talking about shame, how it can show up so intensely in our bodies, and what we can do to stop it from quietly growing in the background. After making an intentional decision that changed the revenue in my business, I experienced a huge wave of shame. I noticed how quickly I connected those numbers to my worth, my success and my ability to “do it all”. Shame loves secrecy. But when we can find the courage to share it with people who love us, understand us and meet us with empathy, it starts to lose its grip. In this episode, you’ll learn: - What shame can feel like in your body and the thoughts it can create - How shame can become tangled up with your identity, worth and idea of success - What it means to build shame resilience through repeated practice - How to separate your worth from the external result that triggered the shame You are allowed to feel it, talk about it and move through it without letting it define who you are. EP 159 | Mindset Mini Series – Ep 5

In this episode of the Mindset Mini Series, Ishares one of the most impactful mindset tools I has used. This episode brings everything together with a powerful reminder that personal growth does not have to be complicated When life feels heavy, chaotic, or overwhelming, our brains often default to making things harder than they need to be. In this episode, you’ll learn: - Why overwhelm often causes you to overcomplicate situations - The tendency many mums have to make personal growth feel “all or nothing” - How simplifying your thinking can create more clarity and capacity - The two questions I returns to whenever I feel stuck, overwhelmed, or mentally cluttered You don’t need to work on your mindset perfectly to make meaningful progress. Small shifts, thoughtful reflection, and a willingness to simplify can create profound changes over time. If this mini-series has helped you create more awareness, simplicity, and self-compassion in your motherhood journey, please share the podcast with another mum who might need it too. EP 158 | Mindset Mini Series - Ep 4

In this episode, we’re focusing on a skill that many mums find surprisingly difficult: Asking for support. As women and mothers, we often carry an unspoken belief that we should be able to do it all ourselves. We convince ourselves that asking for help is inconvenient, unnecessary, or somehow a sign that we’re not coping. But what if support was never meant to be a last resort? In this episode, you’ll learn - Why you may struggle to ask for help - The hidden stories and beliefs that stop you accessing support - How accepting help can actually deepen connection and strengthen relationships - How to identify your personal signs that it’s time to ask for support - The difference between seeking help proactively versus waiting until you’re overwhelmed Resources for you Join my email list of beautiful mums here to stay in the loop, feel less alone, and get the pep talks you didn’t know you needed. EP 157 | Mindset Mini Series - Ep 3

The conversations we have with ourselves every day shape how we feel, how we show up, and how we move through motherhood. And often, without even realising it, our inner voice can become far harsher than we would ever be with someone we love. In this episode, you will reflect on: - Why your inner talk has such a significant impact on your mindset - How self-criticism quietly chips away at self-trust and confidence - The question that instantly helps you gain perspective - How to begin noticing your current thought patterns without judgment - Why awareness is the first step to creating kinder, more supportive self-talk - How small moments of intentional rewiring create lasting mindset shifts over time This week’s reflective focus is not about changing everything overnight. It’s simply about noticing. Because the relationship you have with yourself matters, and creating a kinder inner dialogue is one of the most powerful mindset shifts you can make. Enjoy! EP 156 | Mindset Mini Series - Ep 2

In this second episode of the Mindset Mini Series, I’m inviting you to focus on one simple but powerful question throughout your week. Because so often as moms, we look at our lives and either minimise our role in creating the beautiful parts… or we feel powerless to shift the parts that don’t feel aligned. This episode is about stepping back into the driver’s seat of your own life. In this episode, I explore: - Why recognising your contribution to your life is so empowering - How giving yourself credit builds confidence and self-trust - The importance of acknowledging the courage behind your decisions - How this mindset shifts you out of “life is happening to me” thinking - Why recognising your contribution also gives you the power to create change This week’s episode allows you to notice the ways you have shaped your relationships, your home, your family, your growth and your community… and to remind yourself that you are not just along for the ride. You are creating your life every day. Resources for you Join my email list of beautiful mums here to stay in the loop, feel less alone, and get the pep talks you didn’t know you needed. EP 155 | Mindset Mini Series - Ep 1

In this first episode of the Mindset Mini Series, I’m inviting you to slow down and focus on just one powerful reflective question for the week ahead. Because when life feels full and your mental load feels heavy, personal growth can easily become another thing on the to-do list. So instead of overwhelming you with more information, this mini series is designed to give you one simple mindset focus each week. Something to gently reflect on as you move through your everyday life. In this episode, I explore: - Why so many of us instinctively “box up” our emotions - The difference between emotional avoidance and emotional resilience - How vulnerability can strengthen connection within your family - Why letting your children see appropriate emotional honesty matters - The subtle ways we edit our rawness without even realising it Enjoy! EP 154 | How to conduct a heaviness audit

In this episode, I’m inviting you into a really simple but powerful practice that can create immediate lightness in your life… a heaviness audit. This is something I come back to regularly, especially in seasons where things feel full, stretched or just a bit off. Because often, it’s not the big things weighing us down… it’s the quiet, hidden sandbags we’ve gotten so used to carrying that we don’t even notice them anymore. In this episode, you’ll learn: - How to identify the hidden things that are quietly weighing you down - The difference between physical, mental and emotional “sandbags” - Why avoiding small tasks or conversations can create long-term heaviness - How to start taking action so you can experience more lightness in your day-to-day life Resources for you Join my email list of beautiful mums here to stay in the loop, feel less alone, and get the pep talks you didn’t know you needed.
