    Stop Knocking on Doors You Have the Keys to - Damon Davis

    In this sermon, the message looks at Acts 13:36 and the testimony that David served his own generation by the will of God. The focus is on recognizing that every believer has been given purpose, responsibility, and access through the finished work of Jesus Christ. God has not called His people to stand helplessly before doors He has already given them keys to open. Through Christ, believers are invited to move from a posture of constant petition into a posture of faithful action, serving their generation according to the will of God. The sermon also connects this truth to Matthew 16:19, where Jesus speaks of the keys of the kingdom and the authority to bind and loose. These keys are not for selfish ambition or personal gain, but for enforcing the will of heaven on earth. To bind is to restrain, forbid, and stop the works of darkness. To loose is to release, liberate, and set free what heaven has already permitted. This message reminds us that kingdom authority belongs to believers who walk in alignment with the will of God, using the access He has given to serve, act, and bring heaven’s purpose into the earth.

    When I Fall, I Shall Arise - Damon Davis

    In this sermon, the message centers on the power of a comeback. Proverbs 24:16 reminds us that a just man may fall seven times, but he rises again. At some point in life, everyone loses their balance, but falling does not have to be the end of the story. From Moses at the burning bush, to Ezekiel prophesying to dry bones, to Lazarus hearing the voice of Jesus, Scripture shows us that God is able to call people back to life, purpose, obedience, and strength. The sermon is a call to return. Like the prodigal son coming home to a father waiting with open arms, and like the one leper who turned back to give thanks, this message invites us to come back to what matters most. Come back to putting God first. Come back to peace, wisdom, strength, and worship. Revelation 2 reminds us to return to our first love, and Micah 7:8 declares that even when we fall, we shall arise. This is a message for anyone ready to say, “I’m coming back.”

    Neither Do I Condemn Thee - Damon Davis

    In this sermon, the message comes from John 8 and the story of the woman caught in adultery. She was guilty, the accusers knew the law, and they brought her before Jesus demanding a verdict. But instead of immediately answering them, Jesus stooped down and wrote in the dust of the temple floor. This sermon looks at the tension of that moment, where law, accusation, guilt, and mercy all meet in the presence of Christ. The message also draws a connection to Numbers 5, where holy water, temple dust, and the written curse were involved in the law of jealousy. In John 8, Jesus stands as the greater Priest and the ultimate Mediator. Holiness required justice, but living water brought mercy. The law required a bitter cup, but grace revealed that someone else would drink it. This sermon reminds us that Jesus did not ignore sin, but He stepped into the place of condemnation, silenced the accusers, and offered mercy that leads to a changed life: “Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.”

    A Bridled Tongue - Damon Davis

    In this sermon, the message comes from James 1 and James 3, where Scripture deals plainly with the power of the tongue. James teaches that if a man seems religious but cannot bridle his tongue, his religion is vain. The sermon challenges the idea that worship can be separated from speech, reminding us that what comes out of the mouth reveals what is happening in the heart. True religion is not just seen in outward appearance, church attendance, or spiritual language, but in a life that is governed by God, including the words we speak. The message also looks at how James compares the tongue to a bit in a horse’s mouth, a small helm on a ship, and a little fire that can set much ablaze. Though the tongue is small, it has the power to steer direction, cause damage, bless God, or wound people made in the image of God. This sermon reminds us that even joking words can offend and injure when they are not brought under the control of the Spirit. Out of the same mouth should not come both blessing and cursing, and God calls His people to let their speech reflect a pure and undefiled faith.

    Breaking False Covenants - Damon Davis

    In this sermon, the message comes from Exodus 34, where God makes covenant with His people and warns them not to enter into covenant with the inhabitants of the land. The Lord declares that His name is Jealous, revealing that His jealousy is not insecurity or envy like we often think of in human terms, but His holy refusal to share His people with any rival. He is zealous over the covenant He has made, and He calls His people to destroy every altar, break every image, and remove every snare that would pull their hearts away from Him. The sermon reminds us that what we come into agreement with can become a covenant in our lives. God does not want His people joined to disease, depression, anxiety, doubt, or anything that sets itself up as a rival to His promise. Where sickness tries to speak, He offers healing. Where depression tries to rule, He brings joy. Where anxiety rises, He gives peace. Where doubt takes hold, He calls us back to faith. Through passages like Psalm 115 and Psalm 135, the message shows the danger of trusting in lifeless idols and reminds us that we become like what we worship. God’s jealousy is His passionate love calling us away from every false covenant and back into full devotion to Him.

    Whereas I Was Blind, Now I See - Damon Davis

    In this sermon, the message comes from John 9 and the story of the man who was blind from birth. When the disciples saw his condition, they immediately tried to assign blame, asking whether his blindness was caused by his sin or his parents’ sin. But Jesus revealed a greater purpose: this man’s condition would become a place where the works of God would be made manifest. The sermon reminds us that some things we have walked through may not have been for our destruction, but so God could receive glory through our encounter with Him. The message also points to the way Jesus healed the man, using clay made from the dirt and sending him to wash in the pool of Siloam. Not every encounter with Jesus is clean, polished, or sanitary. Sometimes healing involves mud, process, obedience, and a willingness to go wash. This sermon reminds us that Jesus is not afraid of our mud moments. He will meet us in the dirt, bring us out of the miry clay, set our feet upon a rock, and give us a testimony that says, “Whereas I was blind, now I see.”
