    Join Wayne, Cowboy and Mo as they explore North America, one road at a time.  This episode they are joined by Orange County Harley Davidson General Manager Mario Vindeni and together they head to Big Bear Lake with a small detour through the Morongo Valley to Pioneer Town.  With stops at the nearly dry Lake Baldwin, a full Big Bear lake and Rim of the World give lots of beautiful scenery and lots of opportunities to talk about the boom to bust gold rush, film industry and how Big Bear got its name. In the end Mo will give some notes from the road.     Run for the Border, Imperial Hwy - S2

    Join Wayne, Cowboy and Mo as they explore North America, one road at a time.  This episode they head to the San Diego border country with a nice stop at Otay Lakes before a spirited ride along the old stage coach road CA – 94. A second stop at the Jacumba hot springs and the old abandoned bath house and they dropping down to off road country in the desert and lunch at Ocotillo’s Red Feather Café. California Imperial Hwy or commonly known as S2 is part of the old Overland Stage route and is a scenic ride across the California desert.  The guys have a stop at the historic box canyon where the Mormon Battalion carved their way through the rocks and opened the passage west. In the end Mo will share his Notes from the Road.     Parkfield Cafe Bitterwater Road

    In this episode the guys head up to the Central Coast to visit the Mission San Miguel and then a ride through Vinyard Canyon to the San Andreas Fault and Parkfield Cafe. After a great lunch they head south over the open range to the James Dean memorial and the little known Bitterwater road.  The guys will also go over some local history including: Who was the “Forgotten Friar” that established most of the California Missions?; How did Vineyard Canyon Road gets its name when there are no Vinyards on it? And who was the hollywood celebrity who crashed his brand new porche spyder on Hwy 46.  In the end Mo will share some notes from the road.     Death Valley with Orange Coast H.O.G.

    In our third episode of season 2 join Wayne, Cowboy and Mo as they explore the roads of North America, one road at a time. In this episode the guys join the Orange Coast Harley Owners Group (H.O.G.) chapter on a great three day ride through Death Valley including some great roads like Angeles Crest (CA - 2), Tehachapi Loop, Lake Isabella/Kern River, Panamint Valley and of course Death Valley. The guys will also go over some local history including: What engineering marvel helped trains get over Tehachapi Pass; What town boomed by providing a needed ingredient for Ammunition during World War I; and where was the final hideout for Charles Manson and the spot where he was finally arrested? In the end Mo will share some notes from the road.     Salton Sea & Hwy 111

    Season 2 keeps rolling with the second episode from Wayne, Cowboy and Mo as they explore the roads of North America, one road at a time. This episode they head to the desert to explore Highway 111 and some great riding including Box Canyon as well as stops to explore Desert Beach, Bombay Beach and Salvation Mountain. The guys will also go over some local history including; what town started as a water stop between Yuma and Los Angeles; What lake had so many game fish that you didn't even need bait and where in the desert can you find an artists monument to his relationship with God. Also in today’s Episode Wayne and Cowboy will join Mo to talk over a little history from our route including;  Where did Billy the Kid spend time working as a dishwasher;  Where was the last battle of the Indian wars in Texas and what liquor was found in hidden passages during a recent renovation at El Capitan.     Cardiff By the Sea

    Today is a great ride to explore Northern San Diego county and we wind through the hills of Fallbrook and take a little known path through the Elfin forest and Harmony Grove.  Eventually we will end up at one of our favorite restaurants in the beach community of Cardiff by the Sea.   Also in today’s Episode Wayne and Cowboy will join me to talk over a little history from our route including;  What is the oldest standing building in California;  Who turned a beached ship into a hotel during the California gold rush and what forest was the home to a white witch and a small village of psychics. In the end I’ll join you back here with some Notes from the road and give a few thoughts about superstitions when you live on two wheels and a road.
