    Life Long Learning #1 - Cultivating Seeds

    Welcome to a brand new series of Engage All Ages, the podcast of Intergenerate Australia & New Zealand. In this series we will diving into thoughts around learning throughout our lifetimes, focusing on content delivered by John Roberto at the recent online workshop 'Cultivating the Seeds of the Gospel Today'. John Roberto is well known in the intergenerational faith formation community, and is the author of a number of books including 'Lifelong Faith: Formation for All Ages and Generations'.  He is also the founder of Lifelong Faith (which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year), as well as founding The Center for Ministry Development in 1978. In this episode we'll start unpacking some of those ideas around life long faith, learning and cultivating the seeds of the Gospel.     In this episode of Engage All Ages, Michael and Tammy are diving further into the work of John Roberto (author of 'Lifelong Faith: Formation for All Ages and Generations'), exploring what Christian maturity and lifelong faith formation look like in intergenerational communities. John Roberto’s key principles include faith as a lifelong journey across seasons, churches articulating clear goals for faith maturing, and a holistic approach (head, heart, hands) that forms and transforms. Other topics include how identity is shaped in community, and how faith formation must engage active believers through to non-believers using life experience, tradition, and application.
