BigBreak

William Slover

BigBreak makes the case for the division of the USA into many smaller countries. Smaller countries would reduce the power gap between ordinary citizens, on the one hand, and the politicians, the leaders of big businesses, and the cultural power brokers, on the other. The way things are now, the few people who have real power in one or more of those areas usually can object - successfully - to any change for the better, unless the proposed change protects their self-interest and their influence. There is a better way: spread out the political power across 30 nations.
