    The Mighty Miracles of Jesus

Friends, I know I say this all the time, but I'm so excited about this episode! I have been planning it ever since The Healing Power of Jesus episodes, so for THREE years! Tonight we cover some of the amazing miracles of Jesus that don't involve healing, but involve provision, creation, and His authority over the entire world--even nature. Two of my favorites are when Jesus calms the storm and when He walks on water. I've always struggled with fear, but the past couple of weeks have really tested me. And I'm trying to lean into these moments when Jesus asks His disciples, "Why were you afraid?" I want His peace... the one that can't be explained. I pray for that all the time. The first miracle is when Jesus turns the water into wine at the wedding of Cana. We have heard this one before in the episode called The Arrival of the Messiah, but I had to include it here as well. After all, it was His first miracle! I hope you enjoy. We are reading: John 2:1-11 - Water to WineLuke 5:1-11 - The Catch of FishMark 4:35-41 - Jesus Calms the StormMark 6:30-44; John 6:8-9, 14-15 - Jesus Feeds the 5,000Matthew 14:23-33 - Jesus Walks on WaterMark 8:1-13 - Jesus Feeds the 4,000Matthew 17:24-27 - The Coin in the Fish's MouthMark 11:12-25 - The Fig Tree Withers (feat. Jesus Flipping Tables!)John 21:1-14 - The Catch of 153 Fish Thank you to Jen, Samantha, Sheila, Camille, DeAnne, Lisa, and Robert for your support of the podcast! The Story of Jacob (Full Episode)

Tonight's episode is another combination of multiple episodes! It includes The Twins--Jacob and Esau, The Story of Jacob and Rachel, and Jacob Returns Home. One of the things that stands out to me about Jacob is thathe lied to and betrayed his own brother and father, and then later is betrayed by his uncle. I've always wondered why God allowed someone involved in so much deception to become the father of the 12 tribes of Israel. Adding to my list of questions for Him in heaven! We are reading Genesis 25, 26:34, and 27 through 33. One of our listeners, Franchesca, is a new campus ministerin the Philippines. She has been serving on campus for quite some time but just graduated last year. She is looking for individuals who will partner with her and support her in her mission field. She can be contacted at chesca.baylon@everynationcampus.org or you can directly send support athttps://www.everynation.org.ph/give/franchescabeck.baylon Thank you to Mary, Jon, Jeremy, Dave, Jill, DeAnne, Marie,Hope, Robert, Renee, and Camille for your support of the podcast! Revelation Part 5 - A New Heaven and a New Earth

Tonight we finish up the book of Revelation! In the last three chapters of Revelation, John sees the final defeat of evil, the judgment of all things, and the creation of a new heaven and a new earth! The darkness is gone, death is no more, and God dwells with His people. I got very emotional during this episode, mostly because of being sick for so long. And you will hear it. I did not correct it this time. I long for the day when God will wipe every tear from our eyes! There will be no more mourning or crying or pain! None of our friends or family will suffer anymore. We won't suffer. We will have new glorious bodies. Thank God! I cannot wait for that day. We are reading Revelation 20 through 22. Thank you to Kelly M., Matthew, Lisa, DeAnne, Toni, Jennifer C,, and Kelly A. for your support! And a special thank you to Pragya, Janice, Emmalee, Austin, Jennifer M., and Christopher for your generous donations! It helps more than you know and I thank God for you all. Revelation Part 4 - The Fall of Babylon and the Return of Christ

As we continue in Revelation chapters 17 through 19, John is shown the fall of Babylon, the triumph of heaven, and the best part... the victorious return of Jesus Christ! Here we see God's perfect justice and His faithfulness to fulfill His promises. Hallelujah! How I long for that day, as I know you all do as well. I still find myself struggling with the fear of the end of time and the fear of death itself. But I remind myself that as a Christian, we do not have to be afraid. Even so, God understands that we are human. He is ready to give us His perfect peace that passes all human understanding. I pray for this. We are reading Revelation 17 through 19. Only one part left after this one! Thank you to Jackie, Robert, Senganan, Ashlyann, Christina, Mary, Rose, Ruth, Tyler, and Chanda for your support! Revelation Part 3 - The Woman, the Dragon, and the Seven Angels

Well, according to the polls the majority of you felt ready to continue with Revelation! In Part 3, the focus shifts to the spiritual battle taking place behind the events of history. John sees visions of the woman, the dragon, the beasts, and the seven angels with their bowls. This is where the mark of the beast is mentioned. We don't need to be afraid--we just need to make sure we follow the commands of God and have the faith of Jesus. Then we will have the seal of God. These chapters remind us that God's victory is certain. We are reading Revelation 12 through 16. Thank you to Kenny, Edwina, Robert, DeAnne, Katelyn, and Christine! And a special thank you to Christopher and Lance! All of your support is so much appreciated. Revelation Part 2 - The Seven Seals

Reading Revelation again has definitely shifted my focus. In part 2, we encounter the opening of the seals and the sounding of the seven trumpets by seven angels. Do you see how much God loves the number seven? As you listen, if you find yourself becoming fearful, remind yourself that God does not give us a spirit of fear... but of power and love and self-discipline. The devil wants us to be afraid when we read Revelation. God wants us to be prepared. He is laying it out for us. Once again, I pray that we are ready. **I know these are heavy episodes. Please complete the survey to let me know if you want an "intermission" of sorts before we move on to part 3 and 4.** We are reading Revelation 6 through 11. Thank you to Darlene, Kelly, Winnie, Michelle, Theresa, and Robert! A special thank you to Christopher and Eleanor for their generous donations! Every donation helps. Revelation Part 1 - The Seven Churches

We have had many requests for the book of Revelation! It's such an important book--especially during these times. Revelation begins with a vision of Jesus given to the apostle John. In part one, Jesus speaks to His seven churches, asking them to remain faithful, and calling out their errors. The focus is not fear, but worship, endurance, and the authority of Christ over all things. Revelation says "Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near." Let us take these warnings seriously. We are reading Revelation 1 through 5. I want to thank Wilmarie, Jeff, Alicia, Dana, Mary, and Robert for your support of the podcast! The Story of Joseph (Full Episode)

I finally finished remastering all the Joseph episodes. This includes removing some background noise and slowing it down just a little. I had to laugh because this is such a long episode! One of my favorite stories from the Bible--such a great comeback story. God always has a plan and is always working behind the scenes. Even when times seem dark, we won't need to be afraid. His rod and his staff will comfort us. He doesn't give us the spirit of fear. He gives us power, love, and self-control! He longs for you to have peace. It's something I struggle with daily, but over and over again I have to put my trust in Him. The more you do it, the more natural it will become. We are reading Genesis 37 through 50 and Exodus 1:6-7. I want to thank Austin, Robert, Brian, Malcolm, DeAnne, Yee, John, Don, Darrin, and Lisa for their support of this podcast.
