    (Almost) Twenty years of Digitalism

Off the back of their new six-track, ear-wormy EP "Back To Haus," the German duo Digitalism have no plans on slowing down anytime soon. Having met in a record shop in back 2004, fawning over releases from the French super-group Africanism All Stars. Jens Moelle and İsmail “Isi” Tüfekçi are no longer novice DJs. Instead, try Hamburg’s “most prolific and bewitching production duo.” I spoke with the pair as we looked back on what’s inspired, amazed, and continues to motivate them through their trek through the bountiful landscape of music. Monkeys joining the audience at Fuji Rock in Japan? Check. The aforementioned pizza incident? Yep. Countless syncs in video games and TV shows? You betcha. How about a Vans x Digitalism shoe collab? Isi’s got an idea… ©EHendo Media, 2023. Music provided by LeekBeats, leekbeats.com

    The "Magic" behind Olympic Ayres

The Australian duo Olympic Ayres (Kamaliza “Kam” Salamba & Nathan Misfud) made waves across the 2010s' indie music scene: three, unique, three-song ‘episodes,’ a full-length, “no computers” EP, and a spot on the Ultimate FIFA Soundtrack to boot [thanks to 2013’s Magic]. A musical journey that saw a transition away from bedroom-ridden, “shooting the sh*t” novices, Olympic Ayres quickly found themselves thrust into an upper echelon of nostalgia-inducing sonics with giants such as Empire of the Sun, MGMT, and Foals. I had the opportunity to speak with Nathan, discussing everything from disco breaks, to Daft Punk, Tim Cahill, the “old, sh*tty” Purple Sneakers nightclub, tacos, and most importantly—ask him when we’re getting more new music… ©EHendo Media, 2023. Kovic Is More Than A FIFA Artist

British singer-songwriter & producer Mark Kovic burst onto the UK music scene thanks to his 2017 smash-hit "Drown," following its appearance on the FIFA 18 soundtrack. Yet, Mark is much more than just a "FIFA artist." Hailing from Brentwood, Essex, UK, he spent his early years performing at open mic nights across London and Brighton. Before his more recent solo efforts, he was the frontman of beloved British Alternative Rock group "New City Kings." Now having released two full-length solo albums and a third soon on the way, Kovic has made a name for his powerful vocal performances, collection of stylish blazers, and an impressive catalogue of unique music videos. Listen as Mark discusses what makes him "stand out" as an artist, teases his upcoming album, wonders if his soon-to-be son's "crib playlist" should include Skepta & Stormzy, and much, much more. ©EHendo Media 2023.
