After withdrawing from opiates in a Fort Worth hotel room, Chris Monroe vowed to never take another pain pill. And he didn't - but he fell into a deep depression and turned to another drug to try to pull himself out of his mental state. "Methamphetamine became the sole center of my existence," he said.
