    Speaking with ShaKim of The Ohio 4

    Tonight John Edwards, who we know as ShaKim Bio of The Ohio 4 is back on with Katie! First discussing new findings in his case and getting to know who he is, his goals and aspirations in the future besides fighting his case. While in prison he has started two publishing companies, wrote 5 books, writes articles, and many screenplays. During our discussion we will be discussing his works and how even behind prison walls he aspires to use his story to affect great change . ShaKim was wrongfully convicted in 1995 of the murder of Marsha Blakely in 1991. We allege he was framed, all four men were tried separately.     The Ohio 4: Getting Back to 1991 : Part 2

    This morning Katie will be picking back up with the second Interview of Willie Mincy, Marsha Blakely's boyfriend, last person known to be with her the night of her murder, to get us back on track, Katie will be going over what we have learned so far, by sharing Mean Streets Ohio 4 Murder Map and Timeline based on the police report.... With the 35 year Anniversary Approaching it is important to get back to The Ohio 4!Four men were wrongfully convicted, two still incarcerated for the murder of Marsha Blakely in August of 1991, the same night Marsha was murdered, her room mate Floyd Epps was as well. Back in 1991 Detectives were told my the County Coroner these murders were related. However today Floyd Epps murder is still unsolved. That is because the Detectives at the time wanted to use the murders of Epps & Blakely to lock up four young men from Queens New York who came into Lorain to traffick crack cocaine. The local Lorain police targeted these men because as the lead Detective states they had a master plan to take over the area with drugs and guns, and they were getting in the way of locals who were trafficking. These Detectives had this problem with Detroit men a few years prior, lead Detective Taliano stated they got "rid" of them and now they must get rid of New York Boys, and he is planning to use these murders to get rid of drug competitors. Using a long time Informants drug addicted son who owed one of the four money, they did just that.     The Ohio 4: Barbara Long

    Barbara Long was like a god mother to Marsha Blakely. The night of Marsha's murder Mrs. Long dropped her off at Floyd Epps apartment between 11:00 pm & 11:30pm. The plan was to pick her back up in the morning at 11am to take her back to her sisters. When they arrived at the apartment the next morning, Marsha was not there, but her purse and one slipper was. She goes on to tell detectives that Marsha did not owe anyone money, of her tumultuous relationship with Willie Mincy, and more... Four men from New York were convicted of Marsha Blakely's murder, Mean Street News believes they were wrongfully and intentionally targeted, later convicted based on evidence discovered during this new investigation. Floyd Epps murder is still unsolved, even though the police at the time believed the murders were related. Two men, John "Shakim" Edwards and Ian "Benson" Davis are still incarcerated, and the other two, Alfred Cleveland and Lenworth Edwards were paroled in 2020; always proclaiming their innocence. These men have been labeled The Ohio Four.     The Ohio 4 : Framing the 4!

    Framing The Ohio 4 for the murders of Floyd Epps & Marsha Blakely was the plan of Lorain Detectives Taliano & Resendez back in 1991. They had a problem on their hands, young men from New York coming into Lorain, Ohio selling crack cocaine. Instead of busting them for trafficking drugs, they decided to pin two murders on the men and were successful pinning one murder, Blakely's on the four. Associate of the Four, Delphina Guice, was being intimidated by police at this time and somewhat extorted into providing information to Detectives, especially when they said she could be charged with conspiracy to commit murder because they believed her car was used in the crime although initial search of the vehicle provided no physical evidence.     Tonight in Part 5 of the Back to 1991 series we will be listening to the missing half of Willie Mincy's Interview from 8.9.91. His second interview took place the day after Blakely and Epps murders. We will also listen to Herbert Wallace, who was with Willie around 4am the night of & that following morning. Although married he was seeing Willie Mincy's sister Gwen. He was very concerned about Willie and his whereabouts the night Epps & Blakely were killed.     Lorain County Mega Site

    Over the last six months we have witnessed the citizens of New Russia Township advocating against the Lorain County Mega site. Their belief is that the site is going to be a data center, but is that true? The Lorain County Commissioners have stated publicly multiple times that a data center is not the plan for Lorain County's MEGA Site. Which led to the question, what is the plan? Mean Street News can confidently state the New Russia Township MEGA Site is NOT going to be a data center. After reviewing public records, I concluded that the Lorain County MEGA Site is likely going to be a Lorain County Community College Advanced Technology Campus (LCCC ATC) Tonight Mean Street News is going to share those records and more to show you why this ATC is more than likely for that site..
