This conversation goes deeper than just “cut them off.” We’re talking about what happens when your friends stop growing with you, how to recognize when a friendship has changed, and whether you should have a conversation before walking away. We get into: 🔥 **Outgrowing friendships** — Can you outgrow someone without there being drama or beef? 🔥 **Friendship boundaries** — When is it okay to create distance from friends or family? 🔥 **Protecting your peace vs. avoiding accountability** — Are people using “protect your peace” as an excuse to avoid difficult conversations? 🔥 **Female friendship & vulnerability** — Why can it be so hard for women to admit when they need more from their friends? 🔥 **Adult friendships** — Do your friends have a right to expect you to show up for every birthday, event, or important moment? 🔥 **Friendship expectations** — Is consistency more important than showing up every single time? 🔥 **Choosing your circle** — Who actually belongs in your “top five”? 🔥 **Friendship and relationships** — Can being too focused on your romantic relationship cause you to neglect your friendships? 🔥 **Therapy & accountability** — How do you tell someone you love that they need to seek help? 🔥 **The importance of having a village** — Why healthy friendships can be such an important part of life. 🔥 **The “It Girl” mentality** — Can you truly be vulnerable when everyone in the friend group is trying to maintain the perfect image? And of course, we get into **Oksana Sayvon’s perspective** as a Houston influencer, interior designer, and fashion expert. This episode originally aired as a **Patreon-exclusive conversation** and has NEVER been released on YouTube until now. Women Don’t Need Men Anymore… So What Happens to Love? | Ep. 119

Send us Fan Mail Women don’t need men to survive anymore… **so what happens to love, marriage, dating, and relationships?** 👀 In Episode 119 of **Cup of Conversation**, Tee and Coco are having a real conversation about the changing dynamic between men and women, the rise of financially independent women, modern dating standards, marriage, and what some are calling the **“male loneliness epidemic.”** For generations, relationships and marriage were often connected to survival, financial security, and traditional gender roles. But what happens when women can buy their own homes, build their own businesses, make their own money, and create a life without depending on a man? Does that mean women **don’t need men anymore?** And if women no longer *need* men financially, what makes a man valuable in a relationship? In this episode, we get into: ☕ **The male loneliness epidemic** — Are men actually lonelier today, or are we finally having conversations about something that has always existed? ☕ **Women who don't need men financially** — What happens to relationships when women can provide for themselves? ☕ **Modern dating and women dating multiple men** — Why are women becoming more open about having options? ☕ **Dating standards vs. preferences** — Are women becoming harder to please, or are they finally holding men to higher standards? ☕ **Marriage and survival** — Was marriage historically about love, or was it about survival, security, and building a family? ☕ **The baby mama conversation** — Are women becoming more intentional about who they have children with? ☕ **Men, women, and accountability** — Are both sides being forced to become better partners? ☕ **Can a woman respect a man she doesn't need?** ☕ **Do men and women actually need each other?** — Even when neither person needs the other financially, what does companionship, love, partnership, and intimacy bring to our lives? ☕ **What does a good man actually bring to a woman's life?** The conversation gets real about **modern relationships, gender roles, marriage, independence, dating, masculinity, femininity, financial independence, love, companionship, and the future of dating.** Because maybe the question isn't whether **women need men** or **men need women**. Maybe the real question is: **What do we bring to each other's lives when survival is no longer the reason we're together?** Drop your thoughts in the comments: **Can a woman respect a man she doesn't need?** And do you believe we're experiencing a **male loneliness epidemic**, or are men simply being forced to adjust to a world where women have more choices than ever before? 🎙️ **Welcome to Cup of Conversation — where we have conversations worth having.** If you enjoyed this episode, **LIKE, COMMENT, SUBSCRIBE, and SHARE** with somebody who needs to be part of this conversation. ☕ **CUP OF CONVERSATION** Real conversations. The Life You Imagined vs. The Life You Actually Have | Marriage, Career, Kids & Growing Up | Ep. 118

Send us Fan Mail What happens when the life you imagined for yourself doesn't look anything like the life you're actually living? In **Episode 118 of Cup Of Conversation Podcast**, Coco and Tee sit down for a raw and honest solo conversation about **the reality of adulthood, marriage, career expectations, motherhood, mental health, unmet expectations, and grieving the life we thought we were supposed to have.** We grow up with a picture of what life is supposed to look like: graduate college, build a career, fall in love, get married, have children, buy a house, create a family, and live happily ever after. But what happens when real life doesn't follow that timeline? Coco and Tee get real about the parts of adulthood nobody really prepares you for — including how much **marriage actually requires, career regrets, going back to school later in life, fertility and motherhood pressure, societal expectations, and the mental toll of constantly comparing your current life to the life you thought you'd have.** They also unpack a question that many adults quietly struggle with: **Can you grieve a life you never actually lived?** From wishing you had made different decisions in college and your career to questioning whether marriage and motherhood are supposed to happen on society's timeline, this conversation explores what it means to **accept your current reality without giving up on the life you're still capable of creating.** And the conversation gets even deeper when they talk about **the village.** Where did the village go? As adults, why is it so much harder to build genuine community and meaningful friendships? What happened to the neighborhood, church, beauty salon, barbershop, family gatherings, and other “third spaces” that once gave people a place to connect? Coco and Tee discuss how social media, fear, modern life, and constantly being connected through our phones may actually be making genuine community harder to build. They also explore the pressure placed on Black women to always be **strong, independent, and capable**, and ask an important question: **When does strength become emotional suppression?** This episode is for anyone who has ever looked around at their life and thought: “Is this really where I thought I'd be?” If you're navigating **your 20s or 30s, marriage, dating, motherhood, career changes, college regrets, mental health, loneliness, friendships, family expectations, or simply figuring out what comes next**, this conversation is for you. ☕ **IN THIS EPISODE:** * The reality of adulthood vs. the life we imagined * Why marriage can be harder than expected * Marriage expectations and non-negotiables * Career regrets and going back to school as an adult * Feeling behind in life * Grieving the life you thought you'd have * Can you grieve a life you never lived? * Unmet expectations and mental health * Motherhood and fertility pressure * Society's expectations for women * The pressure to get married and have children * Learning to accept that your life doesn't have to be linear * Why it's never too late to pivot * Building a new community in your 30s * Why adults are struggling to find their “village” * The disappearance of third spaces * Social media and loneliness * Friendship and intentional community * Black women and the pressure to be strong * When independence becomes emotional suppression * Learning how to move forward instead of constantly correcting the past * Accepting your reality while still pursuing your dreams Sometimes the life you imagined isn't the life you're supposed to have. Sometimes the plan changes. Sometimes you have to grieve what you thought would happen before you can fully appreciate what is happening. And sometimes… **you just need a software update.** 😂 💬 **QUESTION OF THE DAY:** What part of your life feels heavier than you expected it to feel? Drop your answer in the comments and let us know: **Are you grieving the life you thought you'd have, or have you learned to embrace the life you're actually living?** If you enjoyed this conversation, **LIKE this video, SUBSCRIBE to Cup Of Conversation Podcast, and turn on your notifications** so you don't miss the next conversation worth having. ☕ **CUP OF CONVERSATION PODCAST** Real conversations. Waiting on God or Making Excuses? | Faith Without Works, Purpose, & a Tee Party | Ep. 117

Send us Fan Mail 🎉 It's Tee's 31st Birthday Tea Party! 🎉 This isn't just another episode of Cup of Conversation—it's a special Tea Party celebration as we celebrate Tee turning 31 while diving into one of the biggest questions many Christians struggle with: Are you truly waiting on God... or are you avoiding the work He already told you to do? Too often we say "I'm praying about it" when God has already given us the next step. In this honest conversation, Coco and Tee unpack the difference between faith and procrastination, purpose and fear, and trusting God's timing while still putting in the work. If you've ever questioned your purpose, struggled with burnout, battled overthinking, wondered if you're moving too fast or too slow, or asked God for direction in your relationships, career, business, or spiritual walk, this episode is for you. ☕ In this episode we discuss: • What "waiting on God" really means • Faith without works in everyday life • How to know if you're walking in purpose or operating out of fear • Christian women, relationships, and personal growth • Why therapy, counseling, and community are biblical tools—not signs of weak faith • The dangers of over-spiritualizing everything • Burnout, discipline, and trusting God's plan • Planning your future while surrendering to God's will • Building the life you desire before waiting for someone else to complete it Whether you're navigating your faith journey, preparing for marriage, building a business, healing from past experiences, or simply trying to hear God's voice more clearly, we hope this conversation reminds you that faith and action go hand in hand. 💛 Help us wish Tee a HAPPY 31ST BIRTHDAY in the comments! 🎂🥂 👇 Join the conversation: What is one area of your life where God is calling you to stop waiting and start working? Can You Follow God Without Changing Overnight? | Ep. 116

Send us Fan Mail What happens when the life you've built no longer reflects who you're becoming? In this powerful episode of Cup Of Conversation, we sit down with content creator and podcast host Zion for one of his most transparent conversations yet. Many of you know Zion from his viral After Zarty Podcast, where controversial conversations, entertainment, and internet moments helped build a massive audience. But today, he shares what happened behind the scenes that led him to walk away from that life and pursue a relationship with God. This isn't just another testimony—it's an honest conversation about growth, conviction, healing, identity, and learning to follow Christ while still being a work in progress. Together we discuss: ☕ Why Zion walked away from the controversial content that made him popular ☕ His journey from viral podcast host to living a Christ-centered life ☕ The pressure of changing in front of thousands of followers ☕ Losing followers while gaining peace ☕ Church hurt, spiritual growth, and being a "baby Christian" ☕ The fear of being judged while growing publicly ☕ Denouncing his former lifestyle and speaking openly about his sexuality ☕ Childhood experiences that shaped his identity ☕ Mental health, depression, people-pleasing, and healing from trauma ☕ Why authenticity matters more than performing religion ☕ Learning that following Jesus is a daily decision—not overnight perfection One of the most powerful moments of this conversation is Zion's willingness to openly discuss how childhood experiences, public perception, and years of living for an audience influenced his identity—and how his relationship with God has challenged him to examine every part of his life with honesty. Whether you're exploring Christianity, rebuilding your faith, struggling with your identity, or simply trying to become a better version of yourself, this conversation is full of grace, transparency, and real-life experiences that remind us we're all on a journey. Send us Fan Mail Is emotional unavailability created... or taught? Why do some men struggle to communicate? Can a relationship coach give advice while still being a work in progress?
