    What's The Deal???

    Okay, full transparency..... I recorded this episode and published it without listening to it for errors. So my bad if there's something in there that shouldn't be. I'm going through a stagnant period of this show, but I don't want to give it up so I briefly talked about something I was genuinely curious about...still am. What are the rules when dealing with other people's kids? How are you disciplining a child that's not yours, if you are at all? The people wanna know.     25 Things About Me

    Hiya, ladies! Welcome back and I hope you missed me. Unlike last week's episode, this one is a little long. It's fun, though. In this one, I answer 25 questions from a book with 3000 questions. I figured they'd be really good questions but honestly, I wanted something a little juicier. Nonetheless, y'all learned something new about me today so I appreciate you.     Expectations: Where Did They Come From?

    Do you find yourself striving for perfection in the most unnecessary situations? Good. That means I'm not the only one. Hey mama. Welcome back, and if you've ever found yourself setting outlandish expectations for how you parent, I'm here to tell you to stop that tish. Of all of the things we have to focus on on a daily basis, I don't want that to be on the list. This episode is meant to express that sometimes, imperfection is perfect. So, to walk the walk that I always talk, I recorded this episode in one take and as always, didn't cut anything, didn't edit anything, and didn't add anything except the intro/outro music.     My Self Care Scare

    Well that was a doozy!! Hey, mama. Did ya miss me? Good, because I missed you more. Today, let's unpack the real fear I have about self care. Why do I feel this way? Probably because of my childhood, but is that really an excuse? One of my main parenting goals is to teach my daughter all the things I never learned, so this episode was therapeutic for me to make and I hope therapeutic to listen to. Again, barely edited, but that's the beauty of this show: you get ALL of me. And today, I left it ALL out there.

    WTF

    Mama, be honest with me... is it just me? In today's episode, I'm venting about my fears regarding sending baby girl out into the world. It's a lot of scary shit going on and I was hoping you'd agree with me. This episode is 100% unedited, uncensored, so I'm hoping it's not TOO raw, but tbh, every episode is unedited so you shouldn't be too surprised. There's a lot of things that we as moms are afraid of because we naturally think ahead, as natural born nurturers, but today's fear revolves around a single object: guns. Gun violence is prominent in America today and it's terrifying to think that it could personally impact our child and our family, but it's naïve to assume that it couldn't possibly happen to our child and our family, so this is me putting it all out there. No sugarcoating, no beating around the bush, IM SCARED!
