Purposeful Women of God began as both Ashlee and Tabitha were seeking a way to minister to women of all walks of life. As they were praying, the Lord began to impress on Ashlee’s heart to begin a podcast and to ask Tabitha to join her. It didn’t take Tabitha long to commit because God was working in her heart as well. When we say we want to “change our focus from me to THEE,” it’s because we recognize that our world is bombarded with self-help guides, and while these are not all bad, we know that the only way we can have true joy and contentment is to find our purpose and calling that only comes through discovering who we are in Christ. Join us as we begin to change our focus from ME to THEE!

    We can’t believe we are almost half way through our new series “Who is Jesus to You?” If you have missed the first 3 episodes in this series you’ll want to go back and check those out. Today we will be looking at “Who is Jesus to the Catholic?” Out of all the religions we have looked at so far I will say the Catholic statement of faith aligns the closest with Christianity. Because of this it may be hard to see the differences in what Catholics believe versus what Christians believe and that’s what we want to help you with today. As we have seen through our teachings even though there are similarities within these religions when you compare them to Christianity they are definitely not the same! We hope to point out the main differences today in Catholicism vs. Christianity and hope you learn something that will help you witness to your Catholic friends or acquaintances.     We are so excited to be back in the studio and to begin our new series. Over the next 10 weeks we will be diving into a series we are calling Who is Jesus to You? Through this series we will examine who Jesus is within different religions. Today we are beginning with who is Jesus to us as a Christian. We thought it was very important to start this series off with a solid foundation on what we believe and why we believe it. This will be the basis for how we discuss the differences in what we believe verses what other religions believe. A lot of our episode today came from a revival service we had back in November that was preached by David Wenger pastor of Hopewell Baptist Church in Gainesville, GA.
