What does it truly mean to belong to the body of Christ? In this inspiring message, Elder Allan Cyster explores God's design for His people to live in unity, serve one another, and reflect Christ's love in a world that often promotes self-interest over selfless service. Drawing from 1 Corinthians 12:12, 18, 20 & 27, he reminds us that every believer has a unique role in God's church and that no member is more important than another.Through powerful biblical insights and practical applications, this sermon highlights:* God's purpose for creating us as a community of believers.* The privilege and responsibility of being part of Christ's body.* How unity strengthens the church while celebrating our God-given diversity.* Why every member's gifts and service matter in God's kingdom.* The importance of keeping Christ at the center of His church.Be encouraged to discover your place in God's family and to ask yourself: "How can I better serve the body of Christ?" Praise & Worship Divine Hour | Bellville SDA Music Team & Elders | 11 July 2026

The Divine Hour began with a joyful season of praise through beloved hymns such as "Great Is Thy Faithfulness," "To God Be the Glory," "Blessed Assurance," "How Great Thou Art," "He Hideth My Soul," and "When the Roll Is Called Up Yonder." These songs celebrated God's unwavering faithfulness, saving grace, and the blessed hope of Christ's second coming, preparing the congregation's hearts for worship. The devotional message focused on Joshua 10:1–15, where Joshua prayed for the sun to stand still so Israel could complete the victory God had promised. The speaker emphasized that Joshua's extraordinary prayer was answered because it aligned with God's purpose. Believers were reminded that while God may not always answer prayers in the way they expect, He always hears sincere prayers offered in faith and according to His will. The congregation was encouraged to bring every burden before God, trusting Him to provide wisdom, healing, restoration, strength, or whatever best fulfills His divine plan. Following the message, the church entered a special season of prayer, with members praying together in pairs for their families, communities, church leadership, and God's guidance. This prayer emphasis reflected the theme of Total Member Involvement (TMI): "All Things New – Hope Starts Here," calling every believer to seek God's direction and participate actively in His mission. The closing challenge reminded the congregation that the church building is a place of encouragement and spiritual renewal, but the true mission field is found during the six days spent at home, work, school, and in the community. Drawing from Matthew 28:18–20, the speaker urged every believer to live in a way that reflects Christ, sharing His love through both words and actions. The service concluded with heartfelt prayers asking God to empower the church to faithfully fulfill the Great Commission, to love others unconditionally, and to be effective witnesses until Christ returns.
