Vikings Roll, Packers Panic, and a Giants Shake-Up

The Vikings are 3-0 and looking legit — but is a shaky offense and a nervous Justin Jefferson ankle situation about to catch up with them? We break down Minnesota's ugly Week 3 win, take a hard look at the Packers' collapsing offensive line and rising pressure on Green Bay at 1-2, and react to the breaking news that the Giants have traded for McCarthy (and what it says about how fast teams are cutting their losses these days). Plus: an NFC temperature check, a Bears-Eagles preview with a Bagent-led offense trying to steal an ugly one in Philly, and one final dose of Packers despair. Oh, and a tangent on dangerous hits and whether anyone in their right mind would actually want to be an NFL referee.

NFC North Week 2: Caleb's Scare, Vikings Hype, and Packers Finally Win

We reset the NFC North after a sloppy Week 2. Was the Caleb Williams injury scare overblown? Are the Vikings actually for real, or is Brian Flores' defense driving the hype? We break down how Minnesota's blitz plan wrecked Chicago, debate who's really the best team in a flawed division, and dig into Green Bay's biggest positives after finally getting a win. Plus: patience on rookies, overreactions on the Bears, ranking division offenses and defenses, a detour into stadiums and turf complaints, and a Packers–Falcons preview to close it out.

We close with early top-five rankings, week-two overreactions, and the usual fantasy team name jokes on the way out.

Angry Mike's NFC North Debut: Packers, Rivals, and Super Bowl Picks

Angry Mike joins the show for his debut episode, breaking down everything NFC North heading into the new season. We dig into why the Packers have stayed relevant at quarterback for decades, whether Favre and Rodgers left Super Bowl wins on the table, and which NFC North fan bases actually get under Mike's skin. From Kyler Murray's move to Minnesota, to Jordan Love's ceiling, to Trey Smack and Green Bay's special teams, we work our way through the division top to bottom — then make our picks for who wins the North, who reaches the NFC Championship, and who lifts the Lombardi. Plus: a spirited debate on whether low, knee-level tackles by defensive backs should be legislated out of the game.

Season Opener: Joint Practices, NFC North Cut Candidates & McCarthy Doubts

We're back! In this season-opening episode we dig into whether NFL joint practices actually help teams get ready, then set the table for the year with division rivals, weather, and early schedule strategy. From there it's a deep dive on the modern NFL — how one quarterback injury can flip a season, which system QBs are on thin ice, and the roster-cut candidates worth watching across the NFC North. We spend real time on the Vikings' roster math and our doubts about J.J. McCarthy (plus some Kevin O'Connell speculation), the Bears' possible cuts and trade chatter, and a healthy dose of old-school football nostalgia. We close out with a look ahead to next week's NFC predictions, some basketball and fantasy football talk, a quick MLB check-in, birthday plans, and a plug for Angry Mike. Next week: video guest coming to the show.

Back from Hiatus: Ranking NFC North Quarterbacks and the AFC West Debate

The show is back. We kick things off with some social media banter and online sports discourse before diving into the NFL: luck, legitimacy, and aging quarterbacks in the early-season debate. We reset the podcast's focus on the NFC North and ask the big question — does the AFC West have the best quarterback group in the league, or can the NFC North rival it? We break down Green Bay hype versus reality, weigh each NFC North team's biggest weaknesses (including Minnesota's), and lay out the plan for weekly NFC North coverage heading into preseason matchups.
