    Love Them Anyway; Matthew Chapter 2

    Send us a text It was always so confusing to me when people have gone out of their way to act ugly and hateful and it can make you start to question yourself like what did I do to you? And a possible answer to that could very simply be nothing. Maybe you didn’t do anything for them to act hateful to you, in fact maybe you went out of your way to show kindness or grace. The thing that helps me feel encouraged is to remind myself that they are obviously hurting, and I truly believe when people act this way towards us it’s evident that they need Jesus. And although it is sometimes incredibly hard to put aside our feelings, it’s the perfect opportunity to do so and to continue to pour out grace and kindness and show His love to the "King Herod's" in our own life. You are seen. You are known. You are loved.

    Open Hands and Eager Hearts; Matthew Chapter 1

    Send us a text God has a specific calling on each of our lives and since He’s a loving God, He’s not going to force us to do anything. And sometimes when we think we know better, we start making decisions with our own agenda in mind and those plans we made don’t quite work out the way we hoped. Maybe you’ve experienced a deep loss or rejection or there’s something that’s happened in your life that you just can’t see why. In those moments, as hard as it may be, we just have to trust that He’s a good God, that His plan is greater and that His love for us surpasses all of our understanding.  You are seen. You are known. You are loved.

    You Are Called For Greater

    Send us a text No matter what stage of life we find ourselves in, there are going to be highs and lows. The good news, is that the only constant we have to rely on is a compassionate and Mighty Father. One who cares about the details, who cares about your heart and who has called you for a greater purpose. When we are more focused on our own strength and our own agenda, it's no wonder we often feel stressed out and discouraged. When we focus more on Jesus, and His purpose for our life, everything else will fall into place.  You are seen. You are known. You are loved.

    God Can Handle Your Big Prayers

    Send us a text Part of me wanted to re-record this episode, as I get pretty emotional during it, but I know myself and it probably wouldn't have turned out any better a second time. It's okay to ask God for what you need. The big and scary prayers, He can handle them. You can trust Him. Ask and you will receive, knock and the door will be opened, seek Him wholeheartedly and you WILL find Him. He loves to reveal Himself to us and He loves to bless His children.  You are seen.     Being Made New; Season 2 Introduction

    Send us a text With this new season of Kingdom Work, I want us to get comfortable with sometimes being uncomfortable. That's a lot of what being a Christian is. Being a follower of Christ and being made new isn't always pretty or "aesthetically pleasing," but it's about surrender. And where there is surrender, there is freedom. Part of surrendering is trusting that what God is doing is good. Because it is! I believe He is calling each of us to draw near to Him, to trust in His promises because He has never ever failed, and He's not going to start now.  You are seen. You are known. You are loved.

    Giving Jesus Our All; Mark Chapter 12

    Send us a text In this week's church sermon my pastor talked about how you finish something is how you start the next thing. And in the very end of today's reading we learn about a poor widow who gave everything she had to Jesus. As this is end of Season 1 of Kingdom Work and the end of the year 2024, I pray each of us finish the year with a surrendered heart posture. I pray that we would give everything we have to Jesus, lay it all down at His feet. That we would finish strong, encouraged, expectant and persistent so we can begin 2025 the same way. Jesus cares for you deeply, and when we surrender to Him is when we find freedom. You are seen. You are known. You are loved.

    There is Blessing In Obedience; Mark Chapter 11

    Send us a text When we get to know Jesus, we understand the depths of his love for us. Something changes within us that makes us want to obey God’s calling not because we have to/ because that’s what christians do, no but because we understand that what God wants is what’s best for us. Sometimes he calls us to do things we think are impossible, uncomfortable, we don’t understand it, we don’t know why, but there is blessing in obedience. He is the God of healing, of restoration, of peace, he is the God of hope and freedom and unconditional love. That is why we trust Him. You are seen. You are known. You are loved.

    Eyes Locked On The King; Mark Chapter 10

    Send us a text Being in any relationship is hard work. It takes intention, time, prayer, effort, communication, sacrifice, grace, community and support. Marriage was created by God for His Glory so if He isn’t at the center of your heart and your relationship, it will be much more difficult and hurtful when problems or conflict arise...the other person is a person at the end of the day, and since they are not Jesus they will inevitably disappoint you. Because of this, I think it’s important whether you’re married or not, to be asking God to help redirect your attention to be fixed on Him. When we do this, any relationship we find ourselves in, we’ll have help from the Holy Spirit guiding us on how to navigate it and not idolize it.  You are seen. You are known. You are loved.
