EP159: The Las Cruces Bowling Alley Massacre

Utter horror erupted on February 10th 1990 inside the usually safe, popular Las Cruces bowling alley in New Mexico, United States.  Two gunmen walked in and shot 7 people at point blank range including 4 children before setting the place alight. 3 people survived thanks to 12 year old Melissia Repass' courage & heroic quick thinking but sadly 4 victims died. With another succumbing to complications from her injuries 9 years later. Due to the shocking nature of these murders it is still regarded as one of the most haunting & heinous crimes to have ever been committed in the city. The case has long gone cold but the victims families still spread hope & want to keep the memories of that day alive in order to seek justice for their loved ones ... But still 36 years later no suspects have ever been found. Which means the killers of 5 innocent people are likely still out there somewhere & they deserve to pay for their wicked crimes. Today's episode leads us to asking important questions to which we may one day know the answer .... Who out there is holding the key that can unlock the crucial secrets that have been kept in the dark for so long ? Who out there knows who killed Stephanie Senac, Steven Teran, Valerie Teran, Paula Holguin & Amy Houser? This case may be old, it may be cold but there is real hope that it can still be solved ... EP152: A Wolf In Sheep's Clothing - The Murder of Cherish Perrywinkle

A terrifying child abduction takes place as 8 year old Cherish Perrywinkle is shopping with her mom in a busy store on June 21st 2013 in Jacksonville, Florida.  Her family had been approached by a kindly older man offering to pay for their clothes as he waited for his wife. However in reality there was no wife & this was no kindly man, but a dangerous, registered sex offender.  As Cherish disappears from the safety of the store the last glimpses of her walking out with 61 year old predator Donald Smith are caught on CCTV. These final images of Cherish are truly haunting because after this she was never seen alive again. Her battered body was found in a creek & her injuries so severe, extensive & horrifying even a seasoned Doctor nearly broke down whilst relaying her injuries in court. Cherish's tragic case shines a light on the predators who walk amongst us free to offend time & again. Monsters who target vulnerable families in order to gain access to their innocent victims. And how even if a stranger claims to be a family man just wanting to help you out, there is a chance that under the friendly facade lurks a deadly wolf in sheep's clothing. A reality that heartbreakingly little Cherish & her family found out in the most devastating way possible....
