Mission SONlight Chatt Season 4 Ep. 27 Abraham Ramos

In this episode of Mission SONlight CHATT, Abraham Ramos tells us how 40 days in immigration detention changed his life, restored his faith, and led him to a new calling in ministry. Abraham shares his testimony of growing up in Ecuador, moving to the United States, drifting away from God, and finding his way back through an unexpected and difficult season. After immigration officers gave him the choice to return to Ecuador or remain in detention while seeking asylum, Abraham chose to stay. He spent 40 days with limited distractions, reading the Bible, praying for hours, and sharing Scripture with another detainee named Miguel. On the 39th day, Abraham was released. The next day, he reunited with his wife and shared his testimony at church. Abraham also talks about his marriage, his wife's music ministry, their Bible studies, and the ministry they lead together, 40 Days of Freedom. He explains how God has used both his engineering career and his personal testimony to serve others. Throughout the conversation, Abraham points viewers to Psalm 51, 1 Thessalonians 5:18, and James 1:2-3. His message is clear: God can transform a life in any circumstance, and surrender to Him can bring freedom, purpose, and a renewed desire to serve. Watch this encouraging Christian testimony and hear how God met Abraham in detention, strengthened his faith, and gave him a new beginning. If this testimony encouraged you, share it with someone who needs hope and remember to pray for Mission SONlight and Network 7.
