Do I Trust God? Matthew 25:14 - 30

Do I really trust God with my money, time, relationships, work, and future? In this message, we look at Matthew 25:14 to 30 and Jesus’ parable of the talents to discover what faithful stewardship looks like. Everything we have has been entrusted to us by God, not simply for our comfort, but to be used for His purposes and glory. Following Jesus means living with open hands and taking daily steps of obedience with the resources He has given us. Fear tells us God may not provide, that we do not have enough, or that what we have does not matter. But fear can keep us from the joy of faithful obedience. As Hope Alive continues the series In Tokorozawa as It Is in Heaven, we explore our goal of becoming a generous, fully self supporting church. Generosity is bigger than money. It includes our gifts, work, relationships, time, and finances. Faithful stewardship is worship because how we use our resources reveals what we value. What has God placed in your hands, and how will you use it for His kingdom? Check out this week’s message. Scripture Matthew 25:14 to 30 Psalm 50:10 For more information about Hope Alive, please check out our website. If you would like prayer or to contact one of our pastors, please click here: Click here to subscribe to our channel to see more messages ホープアライブのYouTubeチャンネルをぜひ登録していただきメッセージをお聞きください https://www.youtube.com/hopealive Click here to Follow us on social media ぜひSNSで登録してください Hopealive.jp Facebook Instagram YouTube TikTok Thanks so much to Jared Brummitt for producing today’s podcast. Why Should We Plant Churches? How God Uses New Churches

Today is our building dedication! Curt Holland is our guest speaker, talking with us about church planting, why it matters, and how God uses new churches. We also continue our series, In Tokorozawa as It Is in Heaven, as we walk through our four year goals. Today’s goal is to plant two churches in four years. Through 1 Peter, we are reminded that our hope is alive because Jesus is alive. Curt shares stories from planting a church in Brazil and shows how a local church can help people meet Jesus, receive mercy, and find lasting hope. God calls His people out of darkness and sends them to declare His goodness to others. Hope Alive exists today because God spoke, people listened, and they obeyed in faith. As we dedicate this building, we are not only celebrating what God has already done. We are looking forward with faith, believing He will use this church to carry the hope of Jesus into Tokorozawa and beyond through new churches. Why does church planting matter, and what could God do through our obedience? Check out this week’s message. Scripture 1 Peter 1:3 to 4 1 Peter 2:9 to 10 For more information about Hope Alive, please check out our website. Can I Be Part of God’s Family?

Have you ever felt rejected, left outside, or unsure whether you truly belong with God? In this message, we explore Ephesians 2:11 to 22 and see how Jesus welcomes people who were once far away into God’s family. We cannot earn our way in through good works, achievements, or what we can contribute. Jesus paid the price for us through His blood, brought us near to God, and opened the door for us to come home. Jesus is not only the One who gives peace. He Himself is our peace. Through the cross, He tears down the walls that separate us from God and from one another. In Christ, we are no longer strangers or outsiders. We are forgiven, welcomed, and made members of God’s household. This truth also gives us a challenge: remember someone who is still far from God, pray for that person, and ask God for a natural opportunity to share the good news of Jesus. If you have wondered whether there is a place for you in God’s family, check out this week’s message. Scripture Ephesians 2:11 to 22 For more information about Hope Alive, please check out our website. Can I Really Break Free From Sin? Revelation 5:9 to 10

Can Jesus really set you free from the sin that keeps pulling you back? In this message, we follow the Bible’s story of deliverance from Moses and the Passover to Jesus, the Lamb of God. Bondage can look like greed, lust, hatred, or fear. Even good things such as career, money, success, or relationships can control us when we need them to feel secure, significant, satisfied, or in control. In Exodus 12, the lamb died in place of the people, and its blood protected them from death. Jesus fulfills that picture. Through His death and resurrection, He paid the debt of our sin, defeated death, and brought us out of bondage into the kingdom of heaven. This freedom is not only something we receive one day in heaven. The kingdom of heaven begins in our lives today as Jesus leads us toward love, joy, peace, forgiveness, and obedience. He does not rescue us and then leave us alone. He stays with us, guides us, and carries us toward the finish line. If you feel trapped by sin or shame, today can be the beginning of a new life with Jesus. Check out this week’s message. Scripture Exodus 12:12 to 13 Revelation 5:9 to 10 For more information about Hope Alive, please check out our website. Am I Truly Saved? Romans 10:9 to 10

Have you ever asked, “Am I truly saved?” Maybe your passion has cooled, you have stopped reading the Bible, pulled away from Christian community, or wondered whether your baptism meant anything. In this message, we explore how true salvation happens through the shining face of Moses, the transfiguration of Jesus, and Paul’s encounter with Christ. Each moment reveals God’s glory and shows why sinful people cannot stand before a holy God through their own goodness. The disciples were terrified when they saw Jesus’ glory, yet Jesus came near, touched them, and told them not to be afraid. Paul’s violent past could not place him beyond the reach of the gospel. Romans 10:9 to 10 explains that salvation comes when we confess Jesus as Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead. We are not saved by religious effort or by proving that we are good enough. Jesus paid the price for our sin through the cross and resurrection. The question is not whether your record is perfect, but whether your faith is fully in Jesus. If you are struggling with assurance of salvation, check out this week’s message. How Can I Restore My Relationship With God? Hebrews 9:14 -15

How can a broken relationship with God be restored? In this message, we explore why sin creates a deeper separation from a holy God than we often realize and why we need a mediator. After Israel worshiped the golden calf, Moses stood between the people and God, confessed their sin, and pleaded for forgiveness. Through Moses’ mediation and God’s goodness, the relationship was restored, and God promised that His presence would go with His people. Moses points us to Jesus, the final Mediator between God and humanity. Jesus willingly went to the cross as the sacrifice for our sins, creating a new covenant and restoring us to God. But His work did not end at the cross. Jesus rose from the dead and continues to intercede for us, guiding, supporting, and helping us from the moment we are saved until we are with Him in heaven. The Day of Atonement and Communion remind us that our sins have been removed and that we can enter God’s presence because of Jesus. You do not have to face guilt, temptation, or suffering alone. Through faith in Jesus, you can be forgiven, loved by God, and restored to a meaningful relationship with Him. What to Do When You Feel Far From God

Have you ever wondered why you do not feel as close to God as you once did? In this message, we explore how to get closer to God when He feels far away. Jude 17 to 21 tells believers to keep themselves in the love of God by building themselves up in faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, and waiting for the mercy of Jesus Christ. This is not about earning God’s love through better performance. Nothing can separate those who are in Christ from His love. Jude shows us how to live with an intentional awareness of that love. We build our faith by reminding ourselves of the gospel and walking with a community that brings us closer to Jesus. We pray in the Spirit, trusting God’s will even when we do not know what to say. We also learn to wait with joy for the mercy and full restoration Jesus promises. On the days you feel overwhelmed, distant, or like a failure, remember that God is able to keep you from stumbling and present you blameless with great joy. You are loved, accepted in Christ, and kept by God. Does God Always Provide What We Need? Exodus 16

Does God always provide what we need, even when we cannot see how the answer will come? In this message, we look at Exodus 16 and the Israelites facing hunger in the wilderness. They had no clear way to feed themselves, but God provided bread from heaven every morning. He gave them exactly what they needed for that day. God’s provision began with many unknowns, but His faithfulness strengthened their confidence and revealed His greatness. In Matthew 14, Jesus takes five loaves and two fish and provides enough food for a huge crowd. Jesus knows our physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. He is the true Bread of Life who came to meet our greatest need, which is to know God and have a relationship with Him. God provided for Israel, for the followers of Jesus, and for Hope Alive Church in Tokorozawa. When you wonder how to trust God in uncertain times, bring your needs to Him in prayer and look for His provision. As you learn to trust Him, you can stop holding tightly to what you have and become more generous.
