    Episode -#230 with Amanda Schwartz, founder of ReWild with Amanda How Horses Reveal The Root Of Healing

    A lot of people come to Reiki looking for the “right” way to do it, and end up stuck in a checklist. We sit down with Amanda Schwartz, founder of ReWild with Amanda, to talk about what happens when you stop performing Reiki and start listening to it. Amanda shares how Reiki found her through a friend, then came roaring back during a major life transition, and why the biggest shift is learning to trust your inner guidance. Amanda’s story is especially compelling because she’s not coming at energy work from a purely spiritual bubble. Her background spans the medical field, Army Reserve preventive medicine, and time as an EMT, which gives her a grounded view of crisis, trauma, and what “support” really looks like when life hits hard. We explore the difference between treating symptoms and addressing root causes, how she thinks about integrity and ethics in the Reiki space, and why authenticity matters more than playing a healer role. We also go deep into animal Reiki and animal communication, with horses as the ultimate truth tellers. You’ll hear why “the animal is the boss,” what distance sessions can look like, and how the horse and rider connection can mirror your nervous system and your boundaries. Amanda also shares Boots Off Healing, her work offering free energy support for military veterans and first responders, plus a couple of book recommendations to strengthen intuitive skills. m the founder of Rewild With Amanda, based in Rineyville, Kentucky . My path here wasn't a straight line. I spent years in the medical field across a few different departments, did preventive medicine in the Army Reserve, and then worked as an EMT for about three years. I was trained to look at the body from every angle you can imagine — but somewhere in all of that, I kept running into the same thing: the medicine could treat what was in front of it, but it couldn't always get to the root of it. Horses are what finally showed me that root. I've been around them for over 30 years, and somewhere along the way I realized they'd been teaching me energy work long before I had a name for it. Horses don't lie to you. They're the biggest mirror you'll ever face, and they taught me how to actually listen — not just to words, but to what's underneath them. I work with two collectives. My W omen's Collective is for women who've spent years proving themselves in spaces that were never built for their softness — stuck in survival mode, forgetting they're allowed to flow instead of fight. My Animal Collective is for owners who know something's going on with their animal that no vet or trainer has been able to name, because it's not a training issue, it's an energy one. I lean into a combination of Reiki, Shamanic healing, medical intuition, sound work, and animal communication — whatever the moment is asking for . I'm not big on daily rituals or checklists. Healing isn't a formula. It's intuitive, it's messy sometimes, and it looks different for every person and animal I sit with. I also founded Boots Off Healing, free energy work for military , veterans, and first responders. That one's close to my heart — If this conversation helps you rethink how you practice, receive, or even explain Reiki, subscribe, share the episode with a friend, and leave a review so more listeners can find it.     Episode #229 Su Mach'ado is a Licensed Reiki Master Teacher Do You Need History To Trust Reiki;

    Reiki can enter your life in the most unexpected way, sometimes through a career breaking point, sometimes through an animal you love. We sit down with ,Su Mach'ado  a Brazilian licensed Reiki Master Teacher, Animal Reiki educator, and historian with the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT), to talk about the moment Reiki found her and how a stressful corporate law career and burnout gave way to a steady, grounded daily practice. Su shares how her dogs led her to Reiki, what changed when she began consistent self-treatment, and why you do not need to “feel” big sensations for Reiki energy healing to be working. We also tackle the myths that keep people on the sidelines, like believing Reiki is only for special people or that you have to abandon a normal job to live a spiritual life. If you’re looking for Reiki for stress relief, emotional balance, or a calmer nervous system, you’ll hear a realistic path you can actually follow. From there, we go deeper into what makes a trustworthy Reiki practitioner, including ethics, nonjudgment, and holding space during hard decisions like end-of-life support in Animal Reiki. Su also brings her evidence-based Reiki history lens, explaining how learning lineage and roots can enrich modern practice without turning Reiki into something rigid. We talk about how Reiki evolved as it traveled to the West, the surprises history reveals, and what it takes to translate core ICRT materials like Usui Holy Fire III Reiki and Karuna Reiki into Portuguese while keeping the meaning intact. Tracy is joining this episode by her ICRT Mentor Karen Caig who is her co-guide. Karen Caig, M.A., L.R.M.T., is a prominent Licensed Reiki Master Teacher, author, and life transformation coach. Formerly based in the Ozarks of Arkansas, she now operates globally as the founder of the Reiki Institute.  Su Mach'ado is a Licensed Reiki Master Teacher and historian with the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT), and founder of Centro de Treinamento de Reiki - Felicidade in Brazil. The first Brazilian to become an ICRT Licensed Reiki Master Teacher, she has trained hundreds of Reiki practitioners and teachers internationally. A pioneer in teaching Holy Fire® III Reiki and ICRT Animal Reiki in Portuguese, Su brings warmth, clarity, and respect for Reiki’s Japanese roots to her work. Her love for animals and the Earth inspires her dedication to sharing Reiki as a path to balance, well-being, and peace. Episode #228 Dane Brown | Great Dane Healing :How A Stressed Pharmacy Worker Built An Animal Reiki Practice

    Reiki can sound mysterious until you’re the one who gets off the table and thinks, “I can’t explain it, but I feel different.” That’s where Dane Brown’s story starts, and it’s why this conversation hits so hard for anyone who’s stressed out, curious about energy healing, or trying to find a more supportive way to care for the animals they love. We sit down with Dane, the practitioner behind Great Dane Healing in Northeast Pennsylvania, to trace his path from a first session recommended by a friend to becoming a Reiki Master Teacher. Along the way, we talk about the moment he realized Reiki “found” him, how regular sessions led to training in Usui Reiki, and how practice turns into purpose when you keep showing up. If you’ve been wondering what Reiki actually feels like, what a good session environment requires, or why some people struggle to describe the results, you’ll hear it in real, grounded language. From there, we go deep on animal Reiki and why dogs now make up most of Dane’s clientele. We explore rebranding from Cherry Blossom Reiki to Great Dane Healing, building a Reiki business without crushing overhead, and why mobile Reiki can be a game-changer for pets who get anxious away from home. We also address Reiki misconceptions, especially the claim that Reiki is a religion, plus what to look for in an ethical Reiki practitioner: honest boundaries, a caring presence, and zero overpromising. Dane shares additional tools he offers, including guided meditation, distance Reiki, chakra-focused support, and animal aromatherapy for dogs and cats. You’ll also hear a powerful recent story from a hospital setting that highlights the connection between physical pain, rest, and energetic wellness.  Dane Brown | Great Dane Healing Dane Brown is the owner and Reiki practitioner behind Cherry Blossom Reiki, LLC, DBA Great Dane Healing, a Northeast Pennsylvania-based Reiki practice serving both animals and people, with dogs now making up the majority of his clientele. Dane’s Reiki journey began about seven years ago when a friend suggested he try Reiki as a way to help manage stress. At the time, he knew very little about Reiki and wasn't quite sure what to expect. After his first session, he couldn't fully explain what he had experienced—he just knew that he felt noticeably more relaxed. That experience led to regular Reiki sessions and, eventually, an opportunity that would change the direction of his life. When his Reiki Master Teacher offered an Usui Reiki Level I class, some encouragement convinced Dane to give it a try. During that first training, he could immediately feel the energy for himself and knew Reiki was something he wanted to continue exploring. Over the years, Dane continued studying with his Reiki Master Teacher and completed numerous Reiki trainings, eventually becoming a Reiki Master Teacher himself. One of the most influential steps in that journey was completing Compassionate Animal Reiki training. Combining Reiki with his lifelong love of dogs felt like a natural fit and ultimately helped reshape his business. Originally operating as Cherry Blossom Reiki, Dane rebranded his work under the DBA Great Dane Healing—a name inspired by a childhood nickname and his love for dogs. What began as a personal journey to manage his own stress had evolved into an opportunity to support others, particularly animals and the people who love them. Today, dogs are Dane's primary Reiki clientele, although he continues to work regularly with people as well. He offers both in-person and distance Reiki and has continued expanding Great Dane Healing's focus on holistic wellness, including handcrafted pet aromatherapy products, community events, rescue support, and education about complementary wellness practices. Dane approaches Reiki as a gentle complement to—not a replacement for—traditional medical or veterinary care. One of his goals is to make Reiki more approachable, especially for people who may be skeptical, unfamiliar with energy work, or simply curious about what it might offer. After all, that is exactly where his own journey began. Nearly seven years after walking into his first Reiki session without knowing what to expect, Dane now has the opportunity to provide that same space for relaxation, connection, and support to people and animals throughout his community. If this resonates, subscribe, share with a friend who loves holistic wellness, and leave a review so more people and pets can find supportive care. Episode #227 Muniqui Muhammad and Lena Takahashi: How Healing Land Reiki Brings Usui Holy Fire Reiki To Kyoto

    In today’s journey, Tracy Searight is Joint by her Mentor  Karen Caig. This very special episode includes ICRT teachers(from the international Center of Reiki training) , and among them representing three continents.  Reiki can change your life without looking flashy, sounding mystical, or giving you “proof” on demand, and that idea alone can be a relief. I’m joined by Muniqui Muhammad and Lena Takahashi, the co-founders of Healing Land Reiki, to share how Reiki found them in Japan and how they’ve built a practice that welcomes beginners, seasoned practitioners, and international travelers looking for authentic Reiki training in Kyoto. We get real about the biggest Reiki misconceptions: treating Reiki like a wish machine, expecting instant fixes, or judging your progress by whether your hands get hot or you see color Muniqui Muhammad and Lena explain Reiki as a natural, universal energy that supports your highest good while still asking you to do your part. We also talk about the online “Wild West” of pricing and credentials, and how to choose a Reiki master teacher based on resonance, integrity, and verified training instead of hype. You’ll also hear what they offer through Healing Land Reiki, including in-person Reiki sessions in Kyoto, live Zoom Reiki sessions, English and Japanese Reiki classes, Holy Fire Reiki and Karuna Reiki training, and immersive Reiki pilgrimages in Japan. Karen joins us with thoughtful questions about the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT), Mount Kurama, and unity consciousness, and we explore why sacred places deserve humility, preparation, and respect, not spiritual tourism. Healing Land Reiki was established in 2016 to provide detailed and accurate information about Reiki (a traditional Japanese healing method) to people in Japan and the world. Episode #226 Tara Rose How An Off-Grid Reiki Teacher Helps Empaths Build Boundaries

    Heartbreak that dissolves in a single Reiki session sounds impossible until you hear the story.  Tracy sits down with Tara Rose, a transformational coach and Reiki Master Teacher, to unpack how Reiki showed up through writer’s block, turned into deep emotional healing, and eventually became a full-time path of service. Along the way, Tara shares what surprised her most: how powerful Reiki can be for grief, emotional trauma, and the kind of inner peace that doesn’t feel forced. Also getting practical about the Reiki world as it is today. Tara and Tracy talk about misconceptions that confuse new students, including the idea that all energy healing is Reiki and the myth that Reiki conflicts with Christianity. From there we move into what to look for in an ethical Reiki practitioner or Reiki teacher: humility, confidence, real testimonials, and a style that empowers you instead of creating dependency. If you’re an empath who feels drained by everyone else’s emotions, you’ll love Tara’s “trifecta” for boundaries: self-awareness, grounding, and detachment by letting go of the urge to rescue. Tara also explains themes from her spiritual memoir Trust the Flow, including how she relates to cannabis (often through CBD), ayahuasca, and kambô as very different tools for insight, self-love, and trauma release. We close with a grounded definition of “trust the flow” and why reattunements across Reiki lineages can spark fresh upgrades in your practice. Tara Rose is a transformational coach and Reiki Master Teacher who helps empaths develop greater self-love and better boundaries, heal themselves from emotional trauma and level up into their most empowered, soul-aligned selves. She's the author of several books including the new spiritual memoir "TRUST THE FLOW: Awakening with Kambo, Cannabis & Ayahuasca," available in audiobook, paperback and ebook on Amazon and her website, www.MagicAndFlow.com Subscribe for more Reiki and energy healing conversations, share this with a sensitive friend who needs stronger boundaries, and leave a review with your biggest takeaway. Episode #225 Karin C Klein Trauma-Informed Energy Healing Beyond Traditional Reiki

    Every now and then Ready Set Reiki has a previous guest coming back to the journey.  Reikican feel like a warm reset for the soul, until the day it doesn’t. Some people walk away from an attunement or a “high-energy” session feeling itchy, headachy, overwhelmed, or strangely porous, and they’re told to push through or “raise their vibration.” I sit down with Karin  Klein, a trauma-informed energy healer and body therapist based in Germany, to talk about the uncomfortable truth: sometimes the most spiritual thing you can do is admit a method isn’t landing safely in your nervous system. We get specific about nervous system regulation, somatic boundaries, and what Karin  calls energy “diversions” that form as protection, not failure. We talk chakra analysis in a practical way, how to give clients advice they can actually act on, and why grounding slogans often backfire when someone is deeply disregulated. Karin also explains how prenatal and birth imprints can shape patterns you can’t logically remember, and why body reading and aura tracking can uncover the roots of stubborn symptoms that never show up on a scan. Then we zoom out to the bigger culture around healing. We question guru myths, pedestal thinking, and New Age messages that can keep people, especially women, small and self-doubting. If you’re a Reiki practitioner, teacher, or curious listener who wants more ethical, body-respecting energy work, this conversation will give you language, context, and concrete next steps. Karin C. Episode #224 Doreen Foxwell : Kid Reiki®️Reiki Your Cereal And Call It Homework

    Kids don’t need to be convinced that energy is real. They feel it, name it in their own words, and often surprise us with how quickly they can use simple tools to calm down, refocus, and care for each other. I’m joined by Doreen Foxwell founder of the Children’s School of Yoga, to talk about what Kid Reiki looks like when it’s taught with play, structure, and real-world experience in schools, camps, and childcare centers. We trace Doreen’s path from a late-night “you have to do this” moment that launched a kids yoga business, through franchising, and then the sharp pivot that came when COVID shut down school-based programs. That disruption opened the door to deeper study, including astrology, angel work, crystal healing, and Reiki training. We get specific about how she explains life force energy to kids, why kids love hands-on practices like the Reiki “fireball,” and how “Reiki homework” (yes, like Reiki’ing a bed or water) helps children feel the difference for themselves. We also go straight at the hard parts: adult misconceptions, “woo-woo” labels, and religious concerns, especially in more traditional communities. Then we bring it back to practical support for today’s kids, including anxiety, emotional outbursts, and screen fatigue, with kid-friendly meditation, mudras, grounding, and movement. If you’re a Reiki practitioner, kids yoga teacher, parent, or educator looking for children’s mindfulness and energy healing tools that actually work day to day, you’ll leave with ideas you can try immediately.  Doreen Foxwell is the founder of The Children’s School of Yoga in 2004. Kids Yoga meets Astrology in 2022 and The Children’s School of Reiki 2025.  Her passion of helping children heal themselves and others continues to grow with each new modality.  She was one of the first to franchise her yoga business back in 2011 and continues to have many locations throughout NY, NJ and NC that continue to teach her curriculum.  Doreen is a mother to two adult children and Grandmother to 3.  When she’s not teaching she loves spending time with her grandsons, friends and family.  Subscribe, share this with someone who works with kids, and leave a review so more families can find the show. Episode #223 Heather Cypel Frozen Trauma Can Run Your Love Life Until You Melt It

    Your relationship patterns might not be “bad luck” or a lack of willpower. They might be frozen energy running an old program in your system. I’m joined by Heather Cypel an intuitive psych specialist and relationship energy specialist, to talk about what happens when you’ve done the journaling, the therapy, the spiritual practices, and you still keep landing in the same painful dynamics. Heather shares why Reiki is such a powerful entry point for learning to feel and move energy, and how her work goes deeper into what she calls the energetic operating system layer where standards, tolerance levels, and attraction patterns are hardwired. We dig into the idea of “defrosting” frozen trauma in the energy body, why triggers and distorted perceptions can live inside that ice, and how those internal configurations can broadcast limitation 24/7 even when you’re trying to think positively. If manifestation feels inconsistent, this conversation connects the dots with a simple image you won’t forget: magnets don’t stick to ice. We also talk about junk programs you would never consciously choose, the role of discernment for energy practitioners, and how overnight energy transmissions can support deep recalibration with less effort. You’ll hear us connect this to real life: breakups, relationship repair, women’s empowerment, boundaries, and how shame around divorce and cultural expectations can quietly shape choices.  Heather Cypel is an Intuitive Psyche Specialist and Relationship Energy Specialist who works with spiritually-aware women at the deepest layer of transformation: the energetic operating system. Most healing modalities work above the frozen trauma (clearing, releasing, processing). Heather's work goes deeper - to the operating system beneath the frozen energy, where relationship patterns, tolerance levels, and attraction calibrations actually live. Through her proprietary process, she helps women: Defrost frozen trauma from the energy body Remove junk programming running outdated patterns Recalibrate their energetic standards to match their conscious desires Shift attraction at the quantum level Her clients are typically women who've done extensive inner work but still experience repeating relationship dynamics. They're ready for precision work at the energetic architecture level, not just symptom management. Download her free Energy Transmission to begin defrosting trauma:https://www.heathercypel.com/energy-transmission.html If you’re ready for practical energy healing insights that link Reiki, trauma healing, relationship patterns, and frequency in a grounded way, press play.
