For the past six years, he has tried his best to fit into his Chinese surroundings, improve his Chinese skills and inspire his team to get international. His motto is "German quality, Chinese speed". He considers himself a "guest" in China, and as so, he believes expats should follow the "house rules" and make sure they don't "dishonor the host", and that includes knowing the right time to speak English and the right time to speak Chinese.
