Learning to Hope After Hardship with Duke White from the GoodVue Network

Send us Fan Mail Pursuing Redemption with Duke White | Learning to Hope After Hardship Duke White of the GoodVue Network sits down with me to talk about a story I never imagined I would one day have the courage to tell, my story of abuse, survival, healing, and learning to hope again. For years, I carried the wounds of abuse and the lies that came with them. But the Lord has healed me and is leading me to finally telling my story, not simply to revisit the pain, but to share what it looks like to find peace, freedom, and hope on the other side. My story, Deeply Wounded Hope, explores surviving abuse and the healing journey of coming into right relationship with the Trinity. God Box continues that journey, and Shake Off the Lies, the newest book in the trilogy, focuses on untangling the lies we've believed and learning to believe God's best for our lives. If you or someone you love is walking through the aftermath of abuse or simply trying to find hope after a season of deep hardship, this episode is for you. My prayer is that through this conversation, you would discover that your story isn't over. There can be peace after chaos, love after hurt, and hope after the deepest wounds. There is mercy on the other side. And with God, there is redemption. Support the show Follow along at Instagram @restoringministriesok or Facebook @restoringministriesok. Finding God, the Real Dad with Lisa "Sunshine" Jennett

Send us Fan Mail In this powerful and deeply personal episode, I sit down with Lisa Jennett, better known as “Sunshine,” to talk about a story marked by pain, healing, humor, and an unexpected encounter that changed everything. Lisa opens up about overcoming childhood abuse and the journey that ultimately led her to truly meet Jesus and discover what she calls “God, Real Dad” at Jesus Jail, a women’s retreat that became a defining moment in her life. But Lisa’s story is anything but ordinary. A self-described “less than tall” woman in her early sixties, Lisa has spent most of her life in Texas, with a chapter in Scotland along the way. She and her Santa Claus-variety husband, affectionately known as Tank, share six kids, around ten grandkids, or “natural wonders of the world,” and a love for traveling with friends, Harley trips, and discovering distant dive restaurants. For the past 25 years, Lisa has made her living as a landscaper. She renames people because she sometimes sees them differently than everyone else does. Behind all that humor is a woman who is madly, insanely in love with what she calls “the Triplets”: God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. That love is what gives Lisa the courage to step outside her comfort zone and share parts of her story she would much rather keep private. She shares them because she knows what it feels like to need healing, to need a Father, and to discover a love powerful enough to change your life. This is a conversation about surviving what happened to you, discovering who God really is, and finding the courage to invite someone else into the same hope and healing you've found. Want to hear more of Lisa’s story? Her book, When I Last Saw Me: The Memoir of Sammi Bass, is available on Amazon and Audible. Kingdom Entrepreneurship and Following Jesus with Coach Joshua Eze

Send us Fan Mail What happens when you stop building your life around what you can accomplish and start building it around who God says you are? In this powerful episode of Pursuing Redemption, I sit down with Coach Joshua Eze to talk about faith, identity, purpose, and what it looks like to let Jesus transform every area of your life, including your career and dreams. Joshua shares his journey of coming to know Jesus and how his faith gradually became woven into his professional journey and coaching business. He opens up about some of his biggest “aha” moments with God and the profound difference between living from orphanhood versus sonship and how our identity can shape the way we approach our relationships, calling, work, and future. Together, we talk about the roadblocks that keep us from allowing God to lead, the unnecessary limitations and bondages we place on ourselves, and what it means to live with a breaker mindset — breaking through the things that have held us back and learning to walk in the freedom God has given us. Joshua also offers encouragement for anyone who feels like they have been running the race for a long time, yet the dream or promise still seems out of reach. What do you do when you've been faithful, but you haven't seen the breakthrough? How do you keep dreaming when the promise hasn't come to pass? This conversation is a reminder that redemption isn't simply about where you've been, it's about allowing Jesus to redefine your identity, restore your hope, and lead you into the life He has called you to live. House for the Broken with Jaron Lockridge

Send us Fan Mail In this episode, we sit down with filmmaker, police officer, and founder of Cinema Ministry Productions, Jaron Lockridge. Through years in law enforcement and his own personal experiences, Jaron has witnessed the devastating effects of addiction, trauma, shame, broken relationships, emotional pain, and spiritual hopelessness. After a life-changing encounter with Jesus, Jaron redirected his passion for storytelling toward creating films and media that point people to hope, healing, and redemption. He shares how God transformed his life and calling, leading him from independent media production into Christ-centered filmmaking that addresses the struggles many people quietly carry. Together, Heather and Jaron discuss the realities of addiction, emotional wounds, discipleship, and the journey toward freedom in Christ. They also explore Jaron’s upcoming streaming series, House for the Broken, which draws from real-life experiences to tell honest stories about broken families, shame, healing, and restoration. This conversation offers encouragement for anyone walking through pain, wrestling with their past, or searching for hope. Jaron’s story is a reminder that no life is beyond God’s redemption and that healing often begins when we bring our brokenness into the light. When Darkness Loses Its Power: Healing Trauma Through the Father’s Love with Dr. Robin Braun

Send us Fan Mail In this deeply moving episode, I sit down with Dr. Robin Braun to explore the journey of healing from eating disorders, perfectionism, and performance-based identity — through the transformative love of Father God. Dr. Braun shares her unique path into inner healing, combining tools like frequency work, muscle testing, and deliverance ministry with her work as a licensed professional counselor. Her approach has helped countless individuals break free from trauma and step into true identity and wholeness. We also step into the weightier side of her calling — her groundbreaking work with survivors of extreme trauma, including Satanic ritual abuse and MKUltra. These stories are not easy to hear, but they reveal a profound truth: when darkness is exposed, it loses its power. As Dr. Braun says, “Once you take the lid off of darkness, darkness loses its power.” Rather than focusing on the trauma itself, Dr. Braun brings survivors into encounters with Jesus — where wounded parts are met with love, truth, and miraculous healing. It’s a conversation that will challenge you, stretch your understanding, and ultimately point you back to hope. Dr. Braun is also the author of impactful books including Living Like a Son: Releasing Blocks to Truly Knowing a Loving Father God and Thrive: Applying Biblical & Quantum Energy Principles to Live a Transformed Life. This episode is a powerful reminder: no matter how deep the wound, healing is possible. Support the show Follow along at Instagram @restoringministriesok or Facebook @restoringministriesok.
