Formed in 2017, Whale Feral quickly built a reputation with dynamic performances across the state, sharing stages with acts like The Marcus King Band and The Heavy Pets. Their early momentum led to the release of a live album and a feature in Relix Magazine, including a live session at the magazine’s Brooklyn headquarters. Since then, the band has kept a relentless touring schedule, evolving their sound while maintaining the raw spontaneity that defines them. Following their 2021 live release All’s Whale That Ends Whale, they returned to the studio to craft their first full-length LP, Words We Can’t Read—a bold step forward that captures both their studio finesse and signature live fire.
