    Stop Forcing The Wrong Dream

Send us Fan Mail If you’ve been calling yourself lazy, unmotivated, or “behind,” I want you to consider a sharper possibility: you’re not stuck because you’re broken. You’re stuck because you’re trying to force a door that was never yours to walk through. I share a personal reckoning that hits hard, the kind that makes you stop mid-thought and go, “Oh… wow.”  We get real about inherited dreams and conditioned goals, the ones we absorb from family, friends, social media, past relationships, or pure survival mode. I talk about what it feels like to grieve a future that never happened and why so many of us are actually grieving identities we’ve outgrown. This is a conversation about spiritual growth, alignment, intuition, radical self-honesty, and the uncomfortable but freeing work of self-accountability.  I also share my own long arc with the dance world, why I spent years trying to resurrect something that ended, and the moment I finally saw the truth: time already spent is not a reason to keep abandoning yourself. When we stop fighting the closed door, we can finally see the open one that’s been waiting all along. If you’re craving clarity, life purpose, and a grounded way to “let go” without bypassing your grief, you’ll find it here.  If this resonates, subscribe, share it with a friend who’s in a crossroads season, and leave a review so more people can find this kind of support. Your Dream Life Starts With A Belief Audit

Send us Fan Mail You can want your dream life with your whole heart and still keep stopping one button short. The wild part is that it often isn’t laziness or a lack of discipline. It’s a protective story you learned long ago that says, “That kind of life is for everyone else, not for me.”  We get real about what the Penthouse Life practice reveals when you actually do it, not just journal about it. I walk through the moment I noticed my own “Ninth Floor” pattern and the fear underneath it: who do I become with wealth and expansion? We talk about the hidden worry that abundance could make you disconnected, ungrounded, or unrelatable, and why that belief can quietly cap your success no matter how hard you work. Then we go deeper into childhood programming, how a survival story can become a lifelong template, and how to update it without judging the version of you that created it.  From there, we shift into practical manifestation and frequency work. I share a morning ritual taught inside Energy Club that happens before you even open your eyes: stepping into an elevator, pressing the penthouse button, and choosing that energy today. We also expand the visualization into a chakra-based “elevator ride” through your energetic body, moving beyond the crown and into higher energetic centers up to the 12th chakra, so you can start the day from your highest available frequency.  If you’re ready to stop getting off the elevator early, listen now, share this with a friend who’s been playing small, and leave a review so more people can find the practice. What’s the story that keeps you on the Ninth Floor? Support the show ✨ Thank you for tuning into this episode of Spiritual Shitshow! Remember, the journey to your most authentic self isn’t always neat, but it’s always worth it. 💖 🎧 If today’s episode resonated with you, share it with someone who needs to hear it, and don’t forget to leave a review to help more people find this space. 🌟 Let’s keep the conversation going—connect with me on Instagram @julienguyen.online or drop me a message about what’s lighting you up or challenging you right now. Penthouse Living

Send us Fan Mail You can meditate, journal, manifest, and still quietly stop one button short of the life you say you want. That’s the tension we’re naming today with a simple image that lands fast: an elevator to your “penthouse life.” If you’ve ever felt like abundance is for other people, or you catch yourself saying “I’m fine right here” even when you want more freedom, money, joy, or space, this one is going to feel uncomfortably accurate in the best way.  I walk you through why so many of us get into the elevator of growth and then choose the third floor or the ninth floor instead of pressing PH. We unpack the two big blocks that keep showing up in my Energy Club teachings: the “not for me” belief (often disguised as modesty or being realistic) and the comfort zone trap (where better-than-before becomes the reason we stop stretching). The heart of it is worthiness, and the way our nervous system clings to what’s familiar even when it’s smaller than our true desire.  You’ll leave with a practical, repeatable two-step morning practice: a journal prompt to blueprint what your penthouse life actually looks and feels like, plus a short visualization to identify the exact floor your body chooses when it wants to feel safe. Once you see your baseline, we practice pressing the penthouse button on purpose and letting your system adjust to the height, the view, and the expansion. If this helped you, subscribe, share it with a friend who keeps “settling” in disguise, and leave a review with the floor you realized you’ve been stopping on. The Soul’s Final Exam

Send us Fan Mail Something feels heavy lately and not in a vague way. It’s the kind of weight that sits in your chest, tugs at old memories, and makes you wonder why you’re tired when nothing “big” happened today. I’m Julie Nguyen, and I’m sharing a message that came through after a conversation with a close friend, because it put language to what so many of us are moving through right now. I walk you through a powerful image: all of us at an airport, each on our own moving walkway, traveling at our own pace toward the same horizon. That’s the energy I can’t ignore, a collective sacred reclamation where we’re being called inward to face what’s been trapped in our bodies and stories for far too long. I talk about the idea of a “final exam” for the soul, the pressure-before-the-breakthrough feeling, and why release can be the doorway to real freedom. I even share a bold metaphor for that buildup and letting go, plus a quick side note on divine feminine healing, pleasure, and learning to feel safe being fully alive in the physical body. Then we get practical. I offer gentle, grounded tools: a simple morning heart check, journaling prompts for your “soul exam answers,” accountability around repeating patterns, and options for somatic release like breath, movement, creative play, and tears. We close with visualization and ritual, because sometimes the next step isn’t more thinking, it’s honoring the moment you’re in and choosing a new horizon with love. If this resonates, subscribe, share this with someone who needs it, and leave a review so more people can find the show. What are you ready to release today? Gratitude vs. Abundance: The Difference No One Talks About

Send us Fan Mail In this episode of The Spiritual Shitshow Podcast, Julie Nguyen breaks down the real difference between gratitude and abundance — and why abundance can actually feel "sticky" once you start really tracking it. Gratitude is easy: you're grateful for your health, your family, your shoes. But abundance? That requires you to notice what's overflowing around you — the apple tree metaphor, the sourdough starter phenomenon, the abundance that's already surrounding you if you just look. Julie unpacks embodiment, frequency, and why "I am" and "I have an abundance of" statements rewire how you experience abundance daily. Plus, this week's homework: writing your own abundance list. If you're on a manifestation journey, doing inner work, or just trying to shift your mindset from lack to overflow — this episode is your bridge. 🎧 New episodes of The Spiritual Shitshow Podcast with Julie Nguyen drop weekly. Embodiment: The Manifestation Bridge

Send us Fan Mail Manifestation, embodiment, and abundance aren't three separate spiritual buzzwords — they're one continuous bridge, and most people are skipping the middle step. In this episode of [Podcast Name], we're diving deep into Theme One: Embodiment — the missing link between wanting something and actually receiving it. You'll learn why manifestation isn't about what you want to call in, but about your ability to embody the felt experience of already having it. We break down the difference between vision-boarding a desire and energetically living inside of it — in your nervous system, your posture, your daily decisions, and your self-talk. This is part of a full-circle recap for anyone who listened to the last episode and only caught pieces of it (ADHD brains, this one's for you) — we're giving you the full download and the bite-sized, tangible practice you can use this week. You're Not Lost, You're in Act Two: The Hero's Journey to Finding Yourself Again

Send us Fan Mail If your life feels like it's falling apart — like something died, like nothing makes sense anymore, like you don't recognize the person in the mirror — this episode is for you. In this first episode of The Spiritual Shitshow Podcast, we break down the Hero's Journey — the ancient storytelling framework found in nearly every myth, religion, and personal transformation story — and show you why feeling "lost" isn't a sign you're broken. It's a sign you're in Act Two. Using real personal story (leaving home at 18, building a business from the ground up, surviving burnout, and rebuilding identity after loss), this episode maps out how ordinary struggle becomes the architecture of a meaningful life. You'll learn: What the Hero's Journey actually is, and why it applies to your real life (not just movies)How to reframe personal crisis, grief, or burnout as a "call to adventure" instead of a failureWhy the messiest chapters of your story are often the most spiritually significantHow to stop telling your story from a victim mindset and start telling it from empowered ownershipPractical reflection prompts to help you identify which "stage" of your own journey you're currently inThis isn't spiritual bypassing. This isn't toxic positivity. This is real talk about transformation, identity, entrepreneurship, burnout, healing, and rebuilding — wrapped in the oldest storytelling structure known to humanity. The Fear of Expansion

Send us Fan Mail The hardest part of growth isn’t always the pain, it’s the moment you realize you might be ready for more. I had a realization this week that felt equal parts liberating and annoying: I keep thinking about my estrangement from my sister, and I keep asking when it ends. When do I stop replaying it, grieving it, trying to understand it, especially when the person is still alive? Then something clicked. Maybe the problem isn’t that the thought returns. Maybe the problem is believing I can’t move forward until it never comes back. I talk about why healing isn’t linear and why I’ve stopped treating “healing” like a lifelong identity or a project to complete. Growth moves in spirals, with expansion and contraction like breath and tides. When an old wound resurfaces, it can feel like failure, but it might be evidence that you’re expanding because you meet the same story with new awareness, more softness, and more compassion than before. Then we go deeper into the part nobody warns you about: the fear of expansion. Contraction is familiar. I know how to survive. But stepping into power, confidence, and a fuller expression of myself brings up fear fast, especially when the last time I felt powerful, life blew apart. We unpack the vulnerability of becoming, the vulnerability of being seen in your greatness, and why the dream can be more tender than the wound. If you’ve been stuck asking “What do I still need to heal?”, I offer a different question: Who am I becoming, and can I let her emerge? If this lands, subscribe, share it with a friend who’s in their own spiral, and leave a review so more people can find the show.
