The Spiritual Shitshow Podcast— where the magic meets the mess. This is my little corner of the podcast universe, where we make personal growth feel a little more human — and a lot more fun. Here, I share the ups, downs, sideways spirals, and surprising sparkles of healing, self-discovery, and spiritual misadventures — all with a wink, a laugh, and a whole lot of heart. Because here’s the thing: healing doesn’t have to be so serious. It can be joyful, playful, messy, beautiful, and unapologetically real. Self-development isn’t about coloring inside the lines — it’s about love, connection, freedom, and daring to tell our very human stories. I’m Julie Nguyen — intuitive channel, certified life coach, somatic practitioner, dancer, teacher, and fellow imperfect human — and I’m here to walk (and sometimes cha-cha) alongside you as we amplify the magic, embrace the mess, and cheer each other on through it all. Come as you are. Let’s make it weird, wonderful, and wildly alive. xo- Julie Want to work together? 1:1 Intuitive channeled Soul Sessions 1:1 Intuitive life coaching and more.... www.numinouswisdom.com Instagram: jujulove_nguyen

    Feminine Remembrance, Reclamation & Power

Send us Fan Mail Your past can teach you a lot, but it can also become a portal you keep reopening every time you’re scared to move forward. I’m Julie Nguyen, and I share what I’m living in real time: the moment my guides basically told me to “close the portal on your past,” and the uncomfortable truth that sometimes “I need to heal more” is just a polished version of fear. The real question isn’t what hurt you. It’s who you are now, and what it looks like to live from that place. A turning point hits when a friend books a soul session, loves it, and then immediately calls me out for charging way too little. Her message is simple: know your worth, put your crown on. That one moment opens up a bigger conversation about women supporting women, self worth, spiritual entrepreneurship, and why claiming your gifts is not ego. It’s embodiment. It’s letting your work take up the space it deserves. We also talk about what so many of us crave: being witnessed by another woman without being judged, competed with, or “fixed.” I share why divine feminine energy feels like remembrance instead of scarcity, and how powerful it is when women reflect your light back to you until you can see it again. To close, I offer a short receiving practice you can do today, especially if your nervous system still treats love, rest, support, or being seen as unsafe. If you’ve been holding your crown in your hands instead of wearing it, press play. Subscribe, share this with a friend who needs the reminder, and leave a review so more people can find the show. The Ones who Overgive

Send us Fan Mail Healing can save your life and still become a trap. We’ve both seen how easy it is to swap one kind of survival for another: scanning for what’s wrong, chasing the next supplement, the next diagnosis, the next nervous system technique, the next piece of trauma to uncover. When the “work” becomes your identity, it starts to quietly reinforce the belief that you’re broken. We dig into that uncomfortable turning point and the reframe that changes everything. We also talk about the tenderness of returning home to yourself. The world teaches achievement, performance, and masking, but it rarely teaches the inner path: who you are underneath survival mode, what’s true for you now, and how to hold your story without living inside it forever. We explore why knowledge alone doesn’t equal transformation and why embodiment matters more than perfectly explained concepts. Real healing shows up in grief, devotion, surrender, forgiveness, and self-love you can actually practice on a hard day. Then we get specific about overgiving: the snacks-for-everyone moments, the free-help reflex, the urge to overextend so you can feel worthy of care in return. We unpack how a core wound can drive that pattern, how the nervous system learns to search for unconditional love outside of itself, and what “mature healing” looks like when you finally choose differently. If you’re ready to stop performing wellness and start valuing yourself, press play. If this resonates, subscribe for more, share it with a friend who overgives, and leave a review so more people can find the show. What pattern are you ready to choose differently? Ho' oponopono

Send us Fan Mail Four short lines can sound like a cliché until you try them when your chest is tight, your mind is spinning, and your body is still carrying the charge of what happened. We sit down with the Ho'oponopono prayer, an ancient Hawaiian healing practice, and share how “I’m sorry, please forgive me, thank you, I love you” becomes less about performing forgiveness and more about clearing the energy inside us. The goal is not shame. The goal is returning to love. We talk about why spiritual tools hit in layers and why something you “didn’t get” years ago can suddenly feel like the missing key. Then we break down each phrase in a real-life way: acknowledging pain without self-attack, letting go of the story without denying it, using gratitude as a grounding practice, and building self-love as medicine. Ho'oponopono becomes a nervous system practice, a heart practice, and a pathway toward self-forgiveness when your inner critic is loud. You’ll also hear a simple guided approach you can try immediately: pause, breathe, feel your feet, make contact with the person or situation or sensation, and repeat the prayer while noticing what shifts in your body. We get honest about what happens when you aim the prayer at someone who hurt you and your body says, “I don’t love you.” From there, we explore why starting with yourself, doing shadow work, and taking real accountability can open the door to authentic forgiveness, while still keeping strong boundaries and never excusing harm. If you’re searching for emotional healing, forgiveness practices, self-compassion tools, or a grounded way to work with resentment and anxiety, this conversation is for you. Subscribe, share this with someone who needs a softer way back to themselves, and leave a review with the phrase that hits you the hardest. May Channeled Message

Send us Fan Mail Your manifestations don’t just respond to what you write down, they respond to what you’re willing to feel. We’re sharing a channeled May message with one simple theme that keeps getting repeated for a reason: love and allowance. Not as a fluffy idea, but as a grounded practice that changes how you move through your day, how you make choices, and how safe your body feels while you’re growing.  We start by gathering scattered energy back into the present moment, building an energetic container around the body, and creating real support for the spine and nervous system. From there we drop into root chakra awareness and tell the truth about what you’ve already cultivated: courage, self-trust, inner peace, boundaries, and the slow, steady momentum of becoming more you. If you’ve been future tripping or living in your head, this is your invitation back into your body.  Then we take manifestation out of the mind and into embodiment. You’ll hear a compassionate way to check your current “frequency,” name what you actually want to feel, and choose tools that lift your energy even one ounce at a time. We also give you clear journaling homework, including a simple “heavy hand vs light hand” exercise and a powerful closing practice: feeling the people behind you, the ones who support you, hold you, and help you keep going.  If this helped you, subscribe, share it with a friend who needs a reset, and leave a review so more people can find the show. Mystic in Plain Clothes

Send us Fan Mail A stranger looks past my head and says I “brought a lot of people” with me. Minutes later, a mystic across a tea table asks the kind of question that makes your stomach drop: Do you know who you are? Not what you do. Not what you’ve survived. Not what your gifts are. Who you are.  I’m Julie Nguyen, and I’m sharing a dreamlike night from 2020 when I was overseas teaching dance right before the world shifted. An invitation pulls me into a quiet tea shop down a dark alley, where everyday people gather to practice healing without any costume or performance. That’s where my spiritual ego gets exposed, the part of me that wants to be chosen, important, and labeled. I wanted a cosmic explanation, a neat spiritual category, a notch on my resume. Instead, I got a reminder that changed my path: there is no hierarchy to the light.  We talk about how real intuition and spiritual gifts can still become identity, how we overstep when we’re trying to prove ourselves, and how we also distort ourselves by putting “more enlightened” people on pedestals. The line that keeps echoing is simple and uncomfortable: the pedestal is still a pedestal, whether we’re standing on it or kneeling before it. If you’ve ever felt pulled between genuine spiritual growth and the pressure to perform healing, this is your invitation to come back to humility, boundaries, and truth.  If this landed, subscribe, share it with a friend who needs a reset, and leave a review so more people can find the show. The Gift of it ALL

Send us Fan Mail Holding a beloved pet through their final breath is one of the clearest, most heartbreaking mirrors life can offer. I’m recording for the first time without my little dog Jack beside me, and I share what it was like to walk him through the dying process after 17 years together, including the tender details we rarely say out loud: the pauses, the fighting, the peace, and the moment everything goes still. As I stayed with him, I felt a spiritual download I can’t ignore. I heard the phrase “Great Creator” and a message that animals are gifts, not possessions. That idea cracked something open for me, because it points to a bigger truth about mindfulness, humility, and how quickly we forget the sacredness of everyday life. When death shows up, it strips away the performance and brings us back to what matters: love, time, presence, and gratitude that doesn’t bypass pain. We also talk about grief as evidence of deep love, how to access love underneath the hurt, and how a pet can hold entire eras of your life like a living record of who you’ve been. If you’re moving through pet loss, anticipatory grief, or simply feeling burned out by striving, I hope this reflection helps you soften and remember the gifts that are already here. If this landed with you, subscribe to Spiritual Shit Show, share it with someone who loves animals, and leave a quick review so more people can find these conversations. Saying Goodbye To A Beloved Dog With Presence And Grace

Send us Fan Mail A goodbye can be the most honest spiritual practice you’ll ever touch. I’m sitting in my living room in Colorado with the window open on a snowy May day, recording while my sweet dog Jack rests beside me at the edge of his transition. This isn’t polished, and it isn’t meant to be uplifting in a performative way. It’s grief in real time, and it’s also a love letter to what it means to stay present when everything in you wants to outrun the ending.  Jack has been with me for almost 17 years, through the version of me who lived alone for the first time, through motherhood, marriage, heartbreak, identity shifts, and so many quiet days that didn’t seem “big” until they started disappearing. I talk about the strange symbolism of cycles, what it feels like to witness an ending as it happens, and why an aligned ending can still hurt. We unpack the pressure to be endlessly positive, the temptation to numb out, and the softer truth I’m learning: healing isn’t becoming emotionless, it’s becoming available for life.  We also go deeper into gratitude, not as a checklist but as presence. The sound of tip-tappy paws on the floor, morning coffee, sunlight through the window, a friend texting, your child laughing, an ordinary Tuesday you’d give anything to relive. I share what my guides remind me about authority, worthiness, and co-creation, and why the present moment is the portal where your future is actually made. If you’ve been moving fast, chasing the next thing, or trying to fix yourself into happiness, this is a gentle but honest pause.  If this resonates, subscribe, share it with someone who’s grieving or waking up, and leave a review so more people can find the show. Who Are You Without Your Labels

Send us Fan Mail If you’ve been calling it “healing” but it feels like you’re stuck in a daily scan for what’s wrong, this conversation offers a different doorway. I talk about shifting from a healing journey to a remembering journey so your growth stops feeling like self-correction and starts feeling like coming home to your real identity, your life force, and your one of one uniqueness. We go deep into the roles we play to survive and belong: the fixer, the caretaker, the strong one, the healer, the people pleaser, the “one who holds it all together.” Roles can be helpful in a season, but when that season ends, an identity shift can feel like you’re losing yourself. I share what it’s like when a former peak identity falls away, why we chase old versions of ourselves, and how to begin letting go of roles without abandoning the people we love. I also open up about narcissistic relationship recovery and how gaslighting can groove itself into your nervous system, turning someone else’s voice into the loudest voice in your head. The takeaway is simple but not easy: your voice gets to become louder again. You don’t need a title to be powerful, and you don’t need a role to be worthy. Press play, then grab your journal and sit with these prompts: where are you still playing a role that doesn’t fit, what version of you has already ended, and who are you now? If this hits, subscribe, share it with a friend who’s in transition, and leave a review. What role are you ready to release today?
