    Fulfilling the Commission of Jesus

What if fulfilling the Great Commission isn’t about finding the perfect person, having the perfect plan, or taking God somewhere He isn’t? Jesus invites ordinary disciples to join Him in seeking people, proclaiming good news, and helping others learn to live life with Him. In Matthew 28v16–20, we discover that we all have a role, the harvest is already around us, and Jesus promises to be with us every step of the way. You are never taking God where He isn’t. You are joining where He is going.

Belong in the Family of Jesus

What does it really mean to belong to the family of Jesus? In Matthew 12v46–50, Jesus makes a startling statement about who His family is. In Acts 6v1–7, we see the early church begin to live out that reality by taking responsibility for one another. The church isn't simply a place we attend or a community we consume. Through Jesus, we have been brought into the household of God. Following Jesus was never meant to be a solo journey. As we belong to His people, we learn to lay down our individualism, move beyond our preferences, love people who are different from us, and serve the family Jesus has given us. We need to belong in the family of Jesus to become like Jesus. Matthew 12:46–50 | Acts 6:1–7 Gospel Movement Church

Abiding in the Ways of Jesus

Ekklesia Wk 03 - Abiding in the Ways of Jesus - John 15v1-11 What if becoming like Jesus isn’t primarily about trying harder? In John 15, Jesus gives us a radically different picture of discipleship. We don’t manufacture the life of Christ through effort. We abide in Christ, receive His life, and allow His life to produce His fruit in us. In this message, we explore what it means to abide with Jesus, why abiding is essential to our joy and spiritual formation, and how we can cultivate an awareness of God’s presence in the ordinary rhythms of everyday life. We genuinely become like Jesus by abiding with Jesus.

    Known by our Love

What does it mean to be Known by our Love? In this message, we explore Jesus’ words in Matthew 22v34–40 and the two greatest commandments: to love God with all that we are and to love our neighbors as ourselves. We’ll look at what it means to love God, love our brothers and sisters in Christ, and love the people God places in our path, and why this kind of love is more than something we do. Ultimately, we discover that we can only become people known by our love as we first personally receive and behold the love God has shown us.

    "A Gospel Movement"

Ekklesia Wk 01 "A Gospel Movement" Matthew 22v34-440 The movement God wants to bring to our world won’t come to the church; it will move through the church. In this message, we explore what it means to be ordinary, commissioned, and gifted people who carry the Kingdom forward, motivated by the Gospel. You are not simply here to attend the movement—you are part of it.

    "Our Endurance" 1 Peter 5v1-11

What does it take to endure when following Jesus gets hard? In 1 Peter 5:1–11, Peter reminds us that we were never meant to endure alone—the flock helps us endure, humility teaches us to trust, and Christ keeps us to the end. Our hope isn’t that we’ll be strong enough to make it, but that the God of all grace is faithful enough to carry us there. We conquer by enduring.

    Week 09 "Our Devotion"

In 1 Peter 4v12–19, we discover that persecution doesn’t have to diminish our devotion to Jesus. It can deepen it by revealing how desperately we need Him. The fire around you may get hotter, but the fire within you remains.

Beginning with Beloved Wk 08 - “The Time We’re Given” 1 Peter 4v1-11

Time is one of God's greatest gifts, yet most of us spend more time trying to manage it than discerning what God is doing through it. In 1 Peter 4:1–11, Peter shows us how to glorify God with the time we've been given by thinking like Christ, loving His people, and serving with the gifts He's entrusted to us. Whether you're in a season of joy, uncertainty, or suffering, your purpose remains the same: make God's goodness visible wherever He has placed you.
