    Are You Really Procrastinating?

    You know what you need to do. You’ve learned the strategy. You’ve probably even put it in your calendar… and then somehow, you just don’t do it. Once or twice? Totally normal. But when it keeps happening again and again, is procrastination really the problem — or is there something else going on underneath it? In this episode, I’m talking about the invisible reasons we can avoid the work we genuinely WANT to do, why learning more isn’t always the answer, and a little experiment I tried earlier this year when I noticed myself falling into the same pattern. I took a tool I normally use for manifesting and used it in a completely different way — and I’d estimate it helped me do around 80% more of the high-quality work that actually moves my business forward.     The Four Conversations™ What Your Nervous System Is Trying To Tell You

    Have you ever sat down to do the work you KNOW will grow your business… and suddenly found yourself cleaning the house, overthinking everything, working yourself into the ground or worrying about what everyone else thinks? It might not be a strategy problem. A few weeks ago, while sitting in church, I had a series of really clear pictures in my mind about fight, flight, freeze and fawn — and a completely different way of thinking about our nervous system. I call it The Four Conversations™. In this episode, I'm going to introduce you to your Current Self and Future Self and show you four conversations you can have with yourself when you notice yourself fighting, fleeing, freezing or fawning. We'll talk about what each response might be trying to protect, what your Future Self is trying to create, and how to bring the two together so you can keep moving towards the business and life you actually want. Because the goal isn't to eliminate fear or become perfectly regulated.
