    The Testimony of Faith + Stories from One City // Ep 034: Revelations 12-1-11 // The Way of Faith // The Roman Road

    This week’s episode flows out of our special Praise and Thanksgiving Service, where we paused to celebrate God’s goodness and reflect on the victory we have in Christ. From the rich imagery of Revelation 12:1–11, we explored what it truly means to live as people who overcome—not by our strength, but by the finished work of Jesus Christ and the testimony of faith He has formed in us. In this passage, John unveils a cosmic picture of spiritual warfare: the radiant woman, the furious dragon, and the faithful people of God who stand firm in the face of accusation. Their triumph is secured “by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony.” In other words, victory is not something we achieve—it is something we receive, something we declare, and something we live out with gratitude. As part of The Way of Faith series within The Roman Road, this episode draws our attention to how thanksgiving itself is an act of warfare. Every praise becomes a proclamation of God’s faithfulness. Every testimony becomes a weapon against fear, doubt, and the lies of the enemy. And every moment of gratitude reinforces the truth that we belong to the victorious family of God. In this conversation, we celebrate the One who fights for us, the grace that sustains us, and the testimony that shapes us as overcomers. Let your thanksgiving rise—because the Lamb has already won.
