    Karly recapped her first-ever middle school football game experience, complete with a giant touchdown air horn, a surprise “fifth quarter,” and some awkward postgame waiting around.  Hot Tea: Hayden Panettiere said Neutrogena dropped her after she spoke publicly about postpartum depression, and the company has since apologized. Kane Brown FaceTimed his wife Katelyn from the stage during a concert while she was home with the flu. A Texas couple who met at Buc-ee’s is hoping Buc-ee Beaver will make an appearance at their wedding.  Joey opened up about his weight-loss journey, saying he’s lost around 30 pounds but keeps derailing his progress on weekends by rewarding himself with pizza, desserts, and other treats. Listeners weighed in, and caller Sharon ended up giving him a mix of tough love and encouragement after being recruited to “scare him straight.”  The show spent some time discussing Flock license plate reader cameras, which have become a hot topic in East Tennessee.     Joey shared that his son is deep in an "85-year-old man" phase, wearing button-ups, loafers, carrying hand sanitizer, and even asking for a button-up swimsuit. Joey said that request was where he finally drew the line.  Hot Tea: Prince Harry and Meghan are rumored to be moving back to the UK, Justin Moore revealed the large lump on his neck is benign, and a 19-year-old was arrested after allegedly threatening to bomb an Applebee’s because his food was taking too long.  Nancy says he may be done visiting the Great Smoky Mountains after learning giant Joro spiders have been spotted in the park. Joey thought they looked pretty. Nancy strongly disagreed.  Joey gave an update on the wealthy country music fan challenging him to a charity 90s country trivia duel.     Nancy apologized for making the staff meeting go long yesterday. Karly texted and thanked Joey during the meeting because she thought he was trying to wrap things up so everyone could get on with their day.  Joey shared that his mom, Babs, saw his "summer fit" picture and immediately asked if he was taking Zepbound. He said nope, just diet and exercise, which led to a conversation about how common weight loss drugs have become.  Nancy said her son refuses to sleep in the guest room during their home renovation because he thinks the antique beds are haunted. The furniture came from her great-grandmother's old hotel, but he's convinced there are ghosts involved and plans to sleep on the couch instead.  The show got into the crazy Penn State cocaine ring story involving fraternity members who allegedly had pledges helping package and sell drugs. Joey immediately turned it into a dramatic movie trailer.  Joey and Nancy talked about "after-call ads," where certain apps can pop up advertisements the second you hang up a phone call. That turned into a discussion about all the random places ads have invaded, including gas pumps, rideshares, streaming services, and airport security lines.  Hot Tea: Hayden Panettiere's mom spoke publicly after Hayden's passing and said she never approved of Hayden's boyfriend. Lainey Wilson landed her first comedy role on Leanne, starring East Tennessee favorite Leanne Morgan. And a man in Norway got fined nearly $7,000 for waking up a sleeping polar bear with a foghorn.  Nancy was completely over refrigerator shopping after discovering modern fridges now come with cameras, grocery tracking, talking door alerts, and giant cocktail ice makers. She finally hired an appliance specialist because the choices were overwhelming.  The show watched a viral clip of two Detroit TV anchors arguing off-camera and compared it to one of their own awkward radio moments.     Nancy gave a shoutout to Papa Joe for assembling her giant raised garden beds, even after discovering they’ll require truckloads of dirt to fill.  Karly had an unexpected trip to the Lenoir City Post Office when an employee recognized her from the show and immediately started talking about speed dating.   Joey bought a new pair of blue Nike Air Max shoes and brought them home, only to stop his wife from giving her opinion. Unfortunately, Nancy’s fashion commentary later made him start second-guessing the purchase anyway.  The crew talked about Monday’s storms and power outages. Joey’s family ended up watching the finale of their favorite show inside his electric car in the garage because the power was out.  Hot Tea: Authorities are investigating the death of actress Hayden Panettiere after reports of a possible overdose. Prince Harry and Megan were told to step out of the spotlight for a while. A man dressed as the Grim Reaper was fined after climbing onto a hospital roof and refusing to explain why.  Joey and Nancy debated whether they’d sell family land for an AI data center after hearing about Kentucky farmers turning down a $26 million offer.     Joey, Nancy, and Karly started the week complaining about the brutal East Tennessee heat. Joey said the family’s big Saturday outing was a trip to the grocery store because it was simply too hot to do anything outside.  The crew talked about HOA rules after hearing about a homeowner getting fined for a dead bush. Nancy revealed there’s actually special green spray paint designed to make dead bushes look alive.  Monday Morning Wake-Up Call with 11-year-old Gavin  Joey finally replaced the cabin air filter in his car after months of fish bait smells coming through the vents.   Nancy admitted she spent hours organizing every nail, screw, and bolt in her husband Matt’s garage while they were trying to move storage items.   Hot Tea: Actress Hayden Panettiere reportedly passed away at age 36, and authorities are investigating. Matthew McConaughey shared a story about talking his way out of trouble in Mexico by mentioning Jennifer Lopez. A Kentucky woman woke up to find a bear had broken into her house and stolen her KFC.  Joey and Nancy shared details from Dollywood’s preview of the new Night Flight Expedition coaster. Dolly Parton appeared by video, explaining that her doctor advised her not to travel because she was dealing with dehydration and dizziness.  Lucky 7 for $50 to Old South Candy  Joey accidentally went more than 24 hours without caffeine and ended up feeling sick, nauseous, and miserable.
