Koon Rijjeil Ep 35: Let Them

What if the thing you’re trying so hard to fix doesn’t actually need fixing?   One of the biggest lessons Karim has learned this year can be summed up in two words: let them.   Not in the sense of letting people disrespect you, giving up when things get difficult, or stopping fighting for the things you want. But in learning to recognise the difference between working hard for something and exhausting yourself trying to force something that may simply not be right for you.   In this episode of Koon Rijjeil, Karim reflects on our tendency to keep searching for answers, signs and closure even when, deep down, we might already know what a situation is telling us.Because when we really want something to work, hope can make us incredibly good at finding reasons to keep trying.    One more conversation. One more chance. A little more time. A little more effort. But at some point, the question might need to change from “How badly do I want this?” to “What is this costing me?”   This episode is about trusting what you already know, understanding that nobody necessarily needs to be wrong for something to no longer be right for you, and learning when to stop trying to change what is already showing you exactly what it is.In this episode, we discuss: What “let them” actually meansThe difference between working hard and forcing something to workWhy we keep searching for closure even when we already have answersHow hope can sometimes make us ignore what is in front of usKnowing when to keep trying and when to step awayWhy self-respect means trusting the information you already haveWhy someone doesn’t need to be a bad person for something to be wrong for youAsking what something is costing you, not only how badly you want itAccepting that not everything needs to be fixed  🎙 Koon Rijjeil is a podcast about real conversations on manhood, identity, and mental health.👉 Like, comment, and subscribe for more honest conversations.#KoonRijjeil #MensMentalHealth #SelfRespect #LetThem #LifeLessons #SelfAwareness #MentalHealth #Podcast #UAE #MENA #كون_رجّيل

Koon Rijjeil Ep 34: Why I Don't Want To Be The Nice Guy Anymore

What happens when being the nice guy starts costing you more than you realise? For most of my life, Karim has tried to say the right thing, keep people happy, and avoid letting people down. But recently, he’s started questioning whether being nice and being good are actually the same thing. In this episode of Koon Rijjeil, Karim reflects on his own relationship with people-pleasing, the decisions he’s made for other people instead of himself, and why becoming a good man can sometimes mean doing things that don’t feel very nice.Because when you’re used to keeping everyone happy, choosing yourself can feel selfish. Saying what you really think can feel wrong. And disappointing someone can make you question whether you’re doing the right thing at all. This episode is about learning the difference between being liked and being honest. About making decisions that actually reflect your values. And about accepting that sometimes, doing what you believe is right might disappoint someone else. In this episode, we discuss: • The difference between being a nice guy and a good man • Why people-pleasing can become a difficult cycle to break • Putting yourself first without becoming selfish • Why doing the right thing can sometimes feel wrong • The fear of disappointing the people around you • Making decisions based on your own values and beliefs • Why honesty isn’t always about saying what people want to hear• Letting go of an older version of yourself 🎙 Koon Rijjeil is a podcast about real conversations on manhood, identity, and mental health 👉 Like, comment, and subscribe for more honest conversations.#KoonRijjeil #MensMentalHealth #Masculinity #PeoplePleasing #SelfAwareness #Identity #MentalHealth #Podcast #UAE #MENA #كون_رجّيل

Koon Rijjeil Ep 31: Nour Bachir on Why Relationships Expose You

What does it actually mean to be a man today? In this episode of Koon Rijjeil, Karim sits down with life coach, Nike Ambassador and founder of Bidaya, Nour Bachir, for a real conversation about mental health, family dynamics, relationships, and the kind of masculinity we rarely see spoken about.   We talk about how childhood shapes us more than we realise. How the relationship with your mother and father quietly builds your mental map. How the traits you grow up watching become the traits you look for, or struggle with, later in life. We speak about patience. Emotional regulation. Tough love. Ego. Ghosting. Why men avoid hard conversations. Why relationships expose confront parts of you that you never knew were there   This episode is about maturity. About choosing your response instead of reacting. About redefining strength as calmness, compassion, and self awareness.   In this episode, we discuss: • Mental health as a spectrum • How family dynamics shape identity • What healthy masculinity looks like in action • Fathers, boundaries, and emotional safety • Why men ghost instead of communicate • Relationships as mirrors for growth • The power of pausing before reacting • Becoming a better version of yourself   🎙 Koon Rijjeil is a podcast about real conversations on manhood, identity, and mental health without performance or pretence.   👉 Like, comment, and subscribe for more honest conversations.
