He Returned to Everest to Find The Man in This Photo | Ep 56 | Sean Scobbie

What if one photo could change your life? Eight years ago, while climbing Mount Everest, my guest Sean Scobbie captured a powerful image of a grandfather and his granddaughter in Nepal. That photo stayed with him, through grief, growth, and the passing of his own father. In this episode, he shares the full-circle moment that brought him back to Everest, picture in hand, to find the man in the photo and say thank you.#photography #everest #griefandgrowth GUEST SOCIALS:Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/seanscobbie TIMESTAMPS: 0:00: Episode Trailer 01:11: Story #1 - "10 Seconds Later" 10:33: Story #2 - "The Climb" 28:58: Story #3 - "Grandpa's Hands" 38:34: Story #4 - "We Almost Gave Up" STORY BREAKDOWN Story #1 - "10 Seconds Later" I saw one of his photos in a newspaper and couldn’t stop thinking about it. It just happened spontaneously Story #3 - "Grandpa's Hands" He took a photo of a grandfather and his granddaughter on his first trip to Nepal. He didn’t know it then, but that image would stay with him for years and eventually lead him back across the world. Story #4 - "We Almost Gave Up"The second climb was harder.
