    A Tafsir of Matthew 5:3 - Blessed are the Poor in Spirit

    In Matthew 5:3, Hazoor Isa al-Masih taught, "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." In this episode, we begin studying the Sermon on the Mount, the most beautiful taleem of Hazoor Isa al-Masih. He begins this teaching by describing what it means to be truly blessed.  To be blessed by God, we must first acknowledge the greatness of God. When we understand His greatness, we understand our spiritual poverty in contrast. When we realize our spiritual poverty, we are ready to turn our lives over to Him and let Him change our lives. Perhaps the greatest difference between Hazoor Isa al-Masih and all the other religions of the world is this: Hazoor Isa al-Masih does not expect us to make ourselves pure or right or good. Instead, He asks us to bring our broken lives to Him. Then He, in His power and greatness, transforms us.     The Most Beautiful Taleem of Hazoor Isa al-Maseeh

    Come and study the Sermon on the Mount, perhaps the most beautiful sermon ever spoken in the history of humanity. Today's lesson gives an overview of this beautiful sermon, while the following episodes will study every ayat of this teaching of Hazoor al-Maseeh.  When I study this sermon, I am reminded of an ayat of the Qur'an, "Say, 'If the whole of mankind and jinns were to gather together to produce the like of this Qur'an, they could not produce the like thereof, even if they backed up each other with help and support" (Surah al-Isra 17:88). For any of you who doubt whether the Injeel Sharif is a genuine revelation from God or for anyone who doubts that the Injeel Sharif we currently have is this beautiful book, just go and read the Sermon on the Mount in Matthew 5-7. It is a clear answer to the challenge of the Qur'an. In particular, the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7) tears down religious hypocrisy. In fact, I have found that most people today do not like religious people. Why? First, I have found that many religious people are hypocrites. They demand others follow their religion while failing to do so themselves. Second, many religious people are harsh and unloving.  In Matthew 23:27, Hazoor al-Maseeh attacked this kind of religious teacher. He said, "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs, which appear beautiful on the outside, but inside are full of dead men's bones and every impurity." Indeed, this illustration of religious hypocrites reminds me of much religion practice today. People focus on practicing religion to be seen by others. They pray more in public than in private. They want others to know when they have given.  In contrast, Hazoor Isa al-Maseeh shows a path of internal transformation in the Sermon on the Mount. The Sermon on the Mount is a description of what it means to "Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand." So come and hear how God wants to transform you and purify you from within through this beautiful teaching.

    What does it mean to Follow Hazoor Isa al-Maseeh?

    Today's episode provides an overview of what it means to become a disciple os Hazoor Isa al-Maseeh. Hazoor al-Maseeh desires us to begin our spiritual lives by following eight basic steps: 1. Repent (Tauba) and Believe (Iman) - it means that we must turn away from our old lives to follow Hazoor al-Maseeh. 2. Baptism (Pak Guzl) - we show our tauba and iman by taking the Pak Guzl to declare our faith in Hazoor Isa al-Maseeh. 3. Prayer (Dua) - God loves us and desires us to bring our needs to Him. 4. Study the Word (Kalaam) - if we want to grow in our spiritual lives, then we must devote ourselves to prayer and studying the Injeel Shareef. 5. Go and Make Disciples (Shagird/Murid) - Allah tala desires that we share with others what He is teaching us. 6. Love - followers of Hazoor al-Maseeh are called to love their families, their neighbors, and even their enemies and those who persecute them. 7. Gather in a jamaat (church) and take the Lord's Supper (Isa Rabbani) -  followers of Hazrat Isa al-Maseeh should regularly gather in a jamaat of other followers of Hazoor al-Maseeh. During that time, we take a special meal called the Lord's Supper, or Isa Rabbani, to remember the sacrificial death of Hazoor Isa al-Maseeh. 8. Give - as God has worked in our lives, He desires us to share His love by living lives of generosity. I hope that you will also follow these steps and walk in the path of Hazoor Isa al-Maseeh!

    Tafsir of Matthew 4:12-25 - The Beginning of the Public Ministry of Hazoor Isa al-Maseeh

    Today's episode shares the story of the beginning of the public ministry of Hazrat Isa al-Maseeh. He preached, "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand" and he healed the sick. In this story, we hear about how His first disciples left their homes to follow Him. Just as they immediately and completely gave up their lives to follow Hazoor Isa al-Maseeh, so should we today.  "12 When he heard that Hazrat Yahya (AS) had been arrested, He withdrew into Galilee. 13 He left Nazareth and went to live in Capernaum by the sea, in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali. 14 This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Hazrat Isaiah (AS): 15 Land of Zebulun and land of Naphtali, along the road by the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles. 16 The people who live in darkness have seen a great light, and for those living in the land of the shadow of death, a light has dawned.    17 From then on Hazoor Isa (AM) began to preach, “Repent, because the kingdom of heaven has come near.” 18 As he was walking along the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Hazrat Simon (AS) (who is called Hazrat Peter (AS)), and his brother Hazrat Andrew (AS). They were casting a net into the sea ​— ​for they were fishermen. 19 “Follow me,” he told them, “and I will make you fish for people.” 20 Immediately they left their nets and followed him. 21 Going on from there, he saw two other brothers, Hazrat Yakoob (AS) the son of Zebedee, and his brother Hazrat John (AS). They were in a boat with Zebedee their father, preparing their nets, and he called them. 22 Immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him. 23 Now Hazoor Isa (AM) began to go all over Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people. 24 Then the news about him spread throughout Syria. So they brought to him all those who were afflicted, those suffering from various diseases and intense pains, the demon-possessed, the epileptics, and the paralytics. And he healed them. 25 Large crowds followed him from Galilee, the Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea, and beyond the Jordan."

    Tafsir of Matthew 4:1-11 - Hazoor al-Maseeh's defeat of Iblis

    Today's episode is about how Hazoor al-Maseeh defeated Iblis before He began His public ministry. This story is told in Matthew 4:1-11.  "Then Hazoor Isa (AM) was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by Iblis. After he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. Then the tempter approached him and said, “If you are ibn-e-Allah, tell these stones to become bread.” He answered, “It is written: Man must not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.”` Then Iblis took him to the holy city, had him stand on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to him, “If you are Ibn-e-Allah, throw yourself down. For it is written:      He will give his angels orders concerning you,      and they will support you with their hands      so that you will not strike      your foot against a stone.”   Hazoor Isa (AM) told him, “It is also written: Do not test the Lord your God.”   Again, Iblis took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. 9 And he said to him, “I will give you all these things if you will fall down and worship me.”   Then Hazoor Isa (AM) told him, “Go away, Shaytan! For it is written: Worship the Lord your God, and serve only him.”   Then Iblis left him, and angels came and began to serve him." We also see in this passage that Hazoor al-Maseeh gave the greatest fast. He fasted not merely for thirty days but forty. He fasted not only during the days but at night as well. His fast was guided directly by the Holy Spirit. And the result of this fast was that Hazoor al-Maseeh defeated Shaytan.     Is Allah Tala a Trinity? Part 2

    As Muslims investigate the Injeel Shareef, they often have questions about the Trinity. From their childhood, they have heard their religious leaders teach against the Trinity. The truth is that God is so great and so mighty that we as humans have a difficult time fully understanding Him. God is mighty and we are not. All we can do is receive God's revelation about Himself and believe it. It is not our job to sit as judge over the Word of God! It is our job to receive it and believe it.  In the Injeel Shareef, Allah Tala has received three things about Himself: 1. There is one God. La alaha illa Allah. The Injeel Shareef clearly testifies that there is One God.  2. God exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.  3. Each of these three persons is fully God. God the Father is fully God. God the Son is fully God. God the Spirit is fully God.  Since Allah Tala has revealed these things about Himself in the Trinity, our job is to receive them. If we reject them, we are rejecting the Word of God.

    Tafsir of Matthew 3:11-17 Hazrat Yahya (AS) and the Pak Guzl of Hazrat Isa al-Maseeh

    Hazret Yahya (AS) declared that Hazrat Isa al-Maseeh was greater than he was. He declared that Hazrat Isa al-Maseeh is the sacrificial lamb who takes away the sin of the World.  In this episode, we continue to study the testimony of Hazrat Yahya (AS) about Hazoor al-Maseeh. Hazrat Yahya (AS) gave the Pakistan Guzl to Hazrat Isa al-Maseeh, at which point the Pak Ruh came upon Hazrat Isa al-Maseeh to empower Him to begin His public ministry.  At the point when Hazrat Isa al-Maseeh took the Pan Guzl, the heavens opened and a voice announced from heaven, "This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased."
