    "Always be Prepared"

    When someone asks why you believe in Jesus, are you ready to answer? In this episode of Worship in the Woods, we dive into 1 Peter 3:15 and the call for every Christian to always be prepared to give an account for the hope we carry. Through the lens of hunting, we’ll look at how people ask us about our faith the same way they’d ask how to deer hunt or turkey hunt... because they see us living it. Preparation matters.     Jesus said, “Enter through the narrow gate… For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it” Matthew 7:13–14 In this episode, we take a deep look at what it means to walk the narrow road in today’s world. The wide road is easy, comfortable, and crowded... but it leads to destruction. The narrow road is harder, lonelier, and requires surrender... but it leads to life. We’ll talk about the cost of discipleship, how to know which road you’re really on, and why being “set apart” matters now more than ever.     Guarding your Heart: A Fence Not a Wall

    Proverbs 4:23 tells us, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” But guarding your heart doesn’t mean building walls so high that nothing can get in. In this episode, we talk about what it really looks like to protect your heart with wisdom ... like putting a fence around a corn feeder. A good fence keeps the hogs out, but it still lets the deer in. The same way, our hearts need boundaries that block out what harms us but welcome what God wants to bring in.
