Luke 4:18 "...he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor." What is the gospel to the poor? The gospel - or good news - is that they don't have to be poor anymore! Jesus became poor so that we could become rich. And being rich isn't just about us having a lot of stuff; it's about us getting to a place of ability—the ability to do whatever the Lord asks us. It's about having plenty and having freedom to come and go when the Lord directs. Anything less is not His will.
