Each episode invites you to slow down, listen inward, and trust yourself more deeply as you navigate life, business, and becoming. The show moves through three lived phases that mirror the midlife journey: Transition — the quiet endings, identity shifts, and life changes we feel deeply but rarely dramatize Transformation — emotional healing through forgiveness, gratitude, nervous system regulation, and embodiment Thriving — remembering who you are beneath performance, urgency, and expectations, and stepping into quiet authority Through solo reflections and soulful conversations, Her Truth Revealed explores topics such as healing beyond hustle culture, releasing the Good Girl and Warrior Queen identities, building aligned businesses in midlife, emotional regulation, self-trust, and redefining success through soft power rather than force. This is not a self-help podcast about fixing yourself. It’s a midlife podcast about remembering yourself. If you’re a woman over 40 navigating personal growth, healing, identity, or reinvention—and ready to stop performing and start living from who you truly are—Her Truth Revealed is for you.

S4E2 The Good Girl Dragon: Fixing, Boundaries, and the Grief We Do Not Name

Send a text This episode is a deeper descent. In Season 4, Episode 2 of Her Truth Revealed: Unraveling Our Midlife Era, Sonia Bhatia and I continue the conversation, and we move into one of the most familiar patterns for high-achieving women. The reflex to fix. Not because someone asked. Not because it is required. But because fixing has become a language of worth. In this episode, we explore what happens when you begin to notice the moment your nervous system reaches for control. The moment you become the heroine. The moment you go into action mode. The moment you cross a boundary with yourself before anyone else even has the chance. Sonia shares an honest realization about how quickly solutions can become self-protection. How helping can become proving. How being needed can become the quiet measurement of whether we are enough. And I share what I am learning in real time. That boundaries are not only something we set with other people. They are also the invisible lines we must learn to hold inside ourselves. We talk about the layers beneath the good girl era: • The mama bear instinct and the places it becomes overreach • Over-functioning as a survival skill, not a personality trait • The immigrant daughter conditioning that trained us to anticipate and manage • Imposter syndrome as belonging, blending in, and learning to survive in two worlds • The fear that rises when you finally ask, What do I want • Why compassion is more healing than trying to cut parts of yourself off • The truth that grief needs a witness • The mourning that comes when a version of you is no longer needed • Why midlife and menopause create a reckoning you cannot avoid This episode is not about becoming a new woman. It is about allowing multiple parts of you to coexist. The driven part. The softening part. The part that protected everyone. The part that is learning how to protect you. And underneath it all is a truth that keeps returning. We do not only grieve people. We grieve versions of ourselves. We grieve the ways we survived. We grieve the identities that once kept us safe. This is why Season 4 matters. Because the truth is not just being spoken. It is being lived. And if you have ever wondered why you cannot stop fixing, why rest feels uncomfortable, or why being needed feels like love, this conversation will meet you with honesty and permission. S4E1 The Armor We Lay Down: Forgiveness, Midlife, and Remembering Who We Are

Send a text This episode marks a powerful beginning. In the opening episode of Season 4 of Her Truth Revealed: Unraveling Our Midlife Era, the roles are reversed. For the first time, I am not the one asking the questions. I am the one answering them. My dear friend of nearly 15 years, Sonia Bhatia, steps into the host seat and interviews me. With care, depth, and courage, she guides this conversation into places I have helped so many women explore, yet have rarely allowed myself to share publicly. Season 4 begins differently. It begins with honesty. It begins with vulnerability. It begins with me laying down the armor I have worn for most of my life. In this conversation, we explore the deeper layers of survival, strength, forgiveness, midlife transitions, menopause, identity, and the quiet reckoning that comes when you realize the very traits that helped you survive may no longer be the ones that allow you to live freely. We talk about what it meant to grow up as the daughter of immigrants and how that shaped achievement, hyper vigilance, and people pleasing. We talk about over functioning as safety. We talk about the cost of always being the strong one. We talk about perimenopause not simply as a hormonal shift, but as an identity awakening. This episode is not about reinvention. It is about remembering. Remembering who I was before survival shaped me.  Remembering who I am becoming as I soften.  Remembering that strength does not require armor. This season is different because I am different. And if you have ever quietly asked yourself, Who did I become to survive, and what is it costing me now, this conversation will meet you there. Season 4 does not open with strategy or performance. It opens with truth. And this time, it is mine. Connect With Me: If this episode stirred something in you, I would love to hear from you. S3E38 Burnout, Boundaries, and What Is Enough in Midlife

Send a text In this episode of Her Truth Revealed: Unraveling Our Midlife Era, I sit down with Lori Prutsman, burnout coach and former corporate executive, for a deeply honest conversation about ambition, exhaustion, and the quiet reckoning that often arrives in midlife. This conversation is for the woman who has built a life that looks successful on the outside but feels depleted on the inside.  For the woman who is capable, driven, and reliable, yet quietly wondering how much longer she can keep going at this pace.  For the woman who senses that her exhaustion is not a failure, but a signal. Lori shares her personal journey from senior leadership roles in Fortune 500 companies to a life-altering car accident that forced her to confront what years of overwork, self-abandonment, and relentless proving had done to her body and spirit. What followed was not a dramatic collapse, but a slow and painful awakening. Through medical leave, identity loss, grief, and deep inner work, Lori came face-to-face with a truth many midlife women avoid. Burnout is not just about work.  It is about boundaries.  It is about worth.  It is about learning to stop proving and start listening. Together, we explore: • Why burnout is not a personal failure, but a systemic and emotional pattern  • How ambition can quietly become self-punishment  • The difference between courage and self-compassion, and why you need both  • Why asking “what is enough for today?” can be a radical healing practice  • How identity becomes tangled with productivity in midlife  • The hidden grief that comes with slowing down  • Why rest can feel terrifying for high-achieving women  • How burnout often traces back to earlier life experiences and trauma  • The importance of prevention, not just recovery  • What it truly means to put yourself first without guilt or shame Lori also speaks candidly about perfectionism, workaholism, and the discomfort of sitting with yourself when the doing finally stops. This episode is not about quitting your job. It is about quitting the belief that your worth is measured by how much you endure. If you are navigating exhaustion, questioning your pace, or feeling the tension between ambition and capacity, this conversation will meet you exactly where you are. Because burnout is not the end of your story. It is an invitation to live differently. S3E37 Skin, Stress, and Remembering Yourself in Midlife

Send a text In this episode of Her Truth Revealed: Unraveling Our Midlife Era, I sit down with Kathy Riemann, founder of Bluffside Apothecary, for a deeply honest conversation about healing, health, and what it truly means to come back to yourself in midlife. This conversation is for the woman who feels like her body has been carrying too much for too long.  For the woman who is exhausted, inflamed, or quietly wondering if this is just what aging is supposed to feel like.  For the woman who senses that her symptoms are not random but are trying to tell her something. Kathy shares her personal journey through burnout, chronic illness, toxic environments, and emotional collapse, and how those experiences led her to question not only what we put on our skin, but what we allow into our lives. With a background in senior care, Kathy witnessed firsthand what aging can look like when vitality is supported and when it is not. That perspective, combined with her own healing journey, led her into ancestral skincare practices rooted in simplicity, integrity, and respect for the body’s natural intelligence. What began as making bone broth at home eventually evolved into Bluffside Apothecary, a small batch skincare brand crafted with intention and free from unnecessary chemicals. Together, we explore: • Why skin health is deeply connected to overall wellness  • How chronic stress and toxic environments impact the body’s ability to heal  • What senior care taught Kathy about aging with vitality  • The connection between inflammation, fatigue, and long term stress  • Why many modern skincare products overload the body  • The ancient wisdom behind simple ingredient formulas like tallow  • The difference between distracting yourself and truly reviving your soul  • Why rebuilding in midlife must begin with health, not hustle  • How courage often looks like being seen before you feel ready Kathy also speaks candidly about the grief of starting over and the quiet relief that comes when your body finally feels safe enough to heal. This episode is not about fixing yourself. It is about remembering yourself. If you are navigating unexplained symptoms, feeling disconnected from your body, or sensing that something deeper is asking for your attention, this conversation will resonate. Because this chapter is not the end of your vitality. It is an invitation to meet yourself differently. S3E34 Life Beyond the Binge, Midlife Transitions, and the Wild Card Moment That Changes Everything

Send a text As the holidays approach, this episode of Her Truth Revealed offers a much-needed pause for reflection. In this episode I sit down with Colleen Clifford, writer, speaker, and health advocate, for an honest, compassionate conversation about binge drinking, midlife transitions, and the quiet moments that can change the course of a life forever. Colleen shares her journey from years in the commercial fishing industry with long stretches at sea followed by time off on land, to realizing how binge drinking can hide in plain sight. She didn’t drink every day. She could go months without alcohol. And like so many high-functioning women, she never identified as someone with a problem. Together, we unpack what binge drinking actually is, why it’s often minimized, and how cultural ideas around alcoholism keep women stuck in comparison and justification. Colleen introduces the 95/5 factor, when most of life feels normal and manageable, until one unplanned moment becomes the wild card that changes everything. Colleen also shares the deeper “why” behind her work. After losing her husband to suicide while he was binge drinking, she made a promise that his death would not be in vain. That promise became her mission, to bring awareness without shame, to open conversations without judgment, and to remind us that it only takes one moment to change a life forever. This episode isn’t about telling anyone to stop drinking. It’s about awareness, choice, and honesty, especially during a season when social drinking, emotional weight, and old coping patterns often intensify. If you’re entering the holidays feeling restless, disconnected, overwhelmed, or quietly questioning what no longer serves you, this conversation will meet you with compassion, clarity, and truth. Because there is life beyond the binge, even if you can’t see it yet. S3E33 Where the Woo Meets the Do: Rethinking Productivity, Reclaiming Your Energy, and Building a Business That Loves You Back

Send a text This week on Her Truth Revealed, I had a conversation that felt like a breath of clarity and a spark of energy all at once. I sat down with productivity and results coach Denise Perkins, the founder of the Mindful Productivity Method. If you have ever felt overwhelmed in your business or caught between wanting to achieve more while also wanting to breathe again, this episode is for you. Denise and I talked about what it really looks like to build a business that matches the woman you are today. Her journey is a powerful one. She built a thriving real estate career while raising three young children, stepped into coaching other entrepreneurs, and then in the middle of the pandemic, received a breast cancer diagnosis that completely reshaped the way she viewed time, energy, and purpose. Through all of it, she discovered that productivity is not about doing more. It is about doing what matters. Her work blends what she calls the woo and the do. Vision work, meditation, future self journaling, and intention paired with the practical systems, boundaries, and daily habits that keep you moving toward results without burning yourself out. So many women come to me feeling that heaviness in their business. They are doing everything they are supposed to do, but something still feels off. They feel disconnected from their purpose or unclear about what they truly want. Denise speaks directly to that feeling. This episode is an invitation to pause, to rethink the way you have been operating, and to consider what your business could look like if you allowed it to support the life you want instead of consuming the life you have. If you have been asking yourself questions like: Who am I inside my business now Why am I doing so much and still not getting where I want to go What would it look like to run my business in a way that actually feels good This conversation will meet you right where you are. Denise reminds us that intention creates transformation and that a woman who is aligned with her purpose is far more powerful than a woman simply checking tasks off a list.
