Theology on the Rocks
Two PhD theologians with tendencies towards red wine, real scotch, and hilarious (humble) banter tackle your theological questions as well as our own day to day musings. Sounds like a good time to me (humbly). All opinions, thoughts, terrible jokes, etc are our own and not representative of our respective institutions.

Greetings. Thank you for your podcast. I, like the both of you, am also in academia—though my PhD is in English. As a child of the late 80s, in a particularly insulated pocket of America, I grew up in the conservative evangelical Christian culture, and was even homeschooled. Although I have never “lost” my faith, it is much different now than it was even five years ago. I currently do not have a church home, but your podcast has certainly made me feel less alone. I enjoy drinking, theology, and popular culture, and your podcast has provided it all. I also have a background in horror and disability studies, and I greatly appreciated your discussions on those topics. I am looking forward to future episodes. May I suggest trying a boulevardier cocktail as the weather turns cooler? It’s one of my favorites. Cheers! 🥃 Anelise Haukaas P.S. I am now in Beethoven‘s fan club.

This is my new can’t-miss podcast! Leah and Kristy are so knowledgeable and make theology interesting. They are also hilarious and so fun to listen. I’m finding myself learning new things, and getting a new perspective on topics I thought I already knew. Although I just discovered it and they don’t have many episodes yet, I find myself waiting for the next episode.
