Let's talk about them because information is power. Today we'll go over an introduction to the podcast. So let's get started. A quick introduction about me. I live in practice in the northeast area of Los Angeles. I've been married for almost 10 years, and we have a very active five year old boy, we just finished up baseball season, which if you know, you know what a commitment that is,. When he was born, I decided to start my own law practice. It all started when he was three months old when I was still litigating working for other law firms. And I was totally off my rocker for doing this. But hey, you have to go after what you want, right? I really like this area of law because I know I'm helping people and families in a very direct way. So I'm happy to say I have found my niche. Speaking of niches, why am I focusing on Gen X and Gen Y in this podcast? Why do our generation or generations of this age need estate plans? Well, our needs are very unique. And wills trust and probate issues do not just affect older generations, they affect us too. So why Gen X and millennials or Gen Y? Well, what's going on with our lives, we have children, maybe maybe we have children we're responsible for. We have aging parents, we have possibly an internet presence, whether it be as simple as an online banking profile, social media profile, or as complex as a profit generating YouTube channel. Some of us own homes, a lot of us have significant savings. Some of us are married, some of us are in an unofficial or official, sorry, excuse me, official or unofficial domestic partnership. These are all issues that are going to affect your life and that are going to touch upon issues relating to Wills, trusts and probate. So I am so excited to go over all of this with you all this very, very important information. We'll be going over all of these issues in subsequent podcasts.
