Hi! Nathan here. Touchberry Talks is the outpouring of my three primary loves: my friends, God, and literature. Each of my episodes is book club-esque, with myself and a friend reading separate books and discussing the book and what it taught us. Hopefully you find yourself motivated to read and contemplate yourself as we do. Love you all!

Suffering, Materialism, and Generosity in Notes from Underground and The Pearl, with OzTalksHw

Friends! In this video my friend Ozi and I discuss Notes from Underground by Dostoevsky and The Pearl by John Steinbeck, and the themes of Suffering, Materialism and Generosity. These are all issues pertaining heavily to our culture, where suffering is avoided at all costs (except when sought intentionally), Materialism is accepted and expected from everyone, and Generosity is a foreign notion to many. We encourage you to practice generosity in as much as you're able. If you want one of my t-shirts, comment your address :) Buy the books: Notes from Underground: https://amzn.to/3WBdPqG The Pearl: https://amzn.to/3IKp3TM *These are affiliate links so they're technically ads.
