I have struggled for years to cultivate a practice around Morning and Evening Prayer. A friend recently introduced me to an app for Lectio Divina that I have greatly enjoyed. Yet, something still felt like it was missing from my spiritual life as an Anglican Christian. As such, I am now attempting to create that something. My goal is to provide Morning and Evening prayer recordings complete with lectionary readings - eventually for each day. As I am married to an Anglican Priest, I have also left room for the occasional off-shoot episode. Much love and much peace, Megan.

    Lectionary Readings - Proper 20 - Year A

    This is a new segment that will (Lord willing) be provided weekly as I try to get back on the wagon in recording Morning and Evening Prayer regularly. Until then, please enjoy this option to listen to the lectionary readings for the upcoming week, so that you are praying and meditating upon the scriptures that will be used in your parish on that coming Sunday. Lectionary Readings can be found beginning on page 717 of the 2019 Anglican Book of Common Prayer.

    May 30th - Evening Prayer

    Evening Prayer begins on page 41. Scripture readings can be found on page 749. I read the wrong passage yesterday (Ezekiel 4) so today we will read the passage that was intended for yesterday (Ezekiel 3). I also read the incorrect Psalm (77) so today we will read Psalm 73.
