S4:E9 - Round Witch, Square Box - For the Woman Who's Never Quite Fitted in!

Send me a text message Have you always felt like the odd one out? You’ve watched other people effortlessly make friends, join conversations and seem completely at ease, whilst you’ve quietly wondered why you’ve never quite felt like you belonged. Maybe you’ve spent years trying to squeeze yourself into spaces that never truly felt like home, wearing different masks depending on who you were with, all whilst wondering why you still felt lonely even when surrounded by people. In this deeply personal episode of the Witchy Woo Podcast, Kylie Anna explores why so many women carry the feeling of being different, from childhood experiences and masking, to the sister wound, spirituality and the Akashic Records. She shares her own story of never quite fitting in, along with the remarkable patterns she’s witnessed through years of Akashic Record readings, where women from all walks of life have shared the very same fears of being judged, misunderstood or never fully accepted. Could it be that there’s nothing wrong with you at all? Could the very parts of yourself you’ve spent a lifetime trying to hide be the parts that were always meant to lead you home? Whether you’ve always felt like an outsider, you’re navigating a spiritual awakening, you’re curious about the witch wound, or you’re simply tired of pretending to be somebody you’re not, this episode is a gentle reminder that belonging doesn’t come from changing who you are. It comes from finally having the courage to stop hiding her. 🎧 After listening, continue the journey with this episode’s accompanying Akashic Companion Journey, The Temple of Belonging, a guided meditation designed to help you reconnect with the version of yourself who has always known she belongs, in our Patreon Community. If this conversation resonates with you, I’d love it if you subscribed, left a review and shared it with another woman who’s spent her life wondering why she never quite fitted in. You might just help her realise she’s never been alone. S4: E8 - True crime Style Witch Trial Story of Bridget Bishop - The 'First Witch Execution' in Salem

Send me a text message In 1692, Bridget Bishop became the first person executed during the infamous Salem Witch Trials. In this episode of The Witchy Woo Podcast, we travel back to colonial Massachusetts to uncover the story of Bridget Bishop, the woman whose death would ignite one of the most notorious witch hunts in history. Was she truly practising witchcraft, or was she simply an outspoken, unconventional woman living in a society determined to control female behaviour? Together, we’ll explore the fear, superstition, religious extremism, misogyny and mass hysteria that fuelled the Salem Witch Trials, as well as the accusations, testimonies and events that ultimately led to Bridget’s execution. We’ll uncover how a woman became a scapegoat, why she was targeted, and what her story reveals about power, conformity and the dangers of collective fear.  If you love true crime, dark history, witch trial stories, Salem Witch Trials history, women’s history and the hidden roots of the witch wound, this episode is for you! S4:E7 - This is for the Woman Who Was Told She's "Too Sensitive" (and Believed it!)

Send me a text message Have you ever been told you’re too sensitive? And after hearing it enough times, did you start believing it? In this episode, we’re diving into what happens when emotionally sensitive women learn that feeling deeply isn’t safe. The women who notice everything, absorb everything, care deeply and sense things others miss, yet somehow end up believing there’s something wrong with them because of it. We’ll be talking about emotional suppression, nervous system survival, intuition, hyper-independence, numbness, people pleasing, the witch wound and the subtle ways women learn to disconnect from themselves in order to fit in. Because eventually, many sensitive women stop trusting their feelings, because they stop trusting their intuition, and stop trusting themselves.  We’ll also explore why sensitivity has been treated as a weakness for so long, why so many women have been taught to apologise for who they are, and why feeling deeply might actually be one of your greatest gifts. So if you've been told you're "too sensitive", I say F*ck That!! You've just been taught to distrust the very thing that makes you POWERFUL 🔥  Support the show With HUUUGGGEE Gratitude to our Headline Sponsors: The Strange Apothecary, Ministry of Pharmakeia - https://strangeapothecary.co.uk  Connect with Kylie, and become part of Witchy Woo: Join the Patreon Membership for just £3.50 (+VAT) - HERE Facebook (I would love to connect!) - HEREJoin the Witchy Woo Magickzine Family (magazine subscription) - Use code PODCAST for a cheeky little discount 😉 - HERE 🔥 A Huge thank you to all of our sponsors, that help to make this podcast possible: The Strange Apothecary Cheryl RoseOn Point HealingNureleyaRhythm Poetry, by Spiritual Sisters Collective...

S4: E6 - This is for the Woman Who’s Shitting Herself About Her Own Potential!

Send me a text message In this episode, we’re diving into the uncomfortable truth that sometimes the thing standing between us and the life we say we want is the fear of what happens if it actually works! We’ll be exploring self-sabotage, visibility, the witch wound, fear of judgement, fear of success, and the stories so many women tell themselves about why now isn’t the right time. We’ll talk about why “being realistic” can sometimes be a disguise for playing small, why waiting until you feel ready is often a trap, and how many of us have spent years shrinking ourselves without even realising we’re doing it. If you’ve ever found yourself talking yourself out of opportunities, second-guessing your intuition, waiting for permission, or standing on the edge of something bigger whilst convincing yourself you’re not ready yet, then this episode is for you. I feel we too often as women, feel we are lacking confidence, but I'd argue it's actually that our power is far bigger than we've allowed ourselves to believe, and THAT'S scary!!xxx Support the show With HUUUGGGEE Gratitude to our Headline Sponsors: The Strange Apothecary, Ministry of Pharmakeia - https://strangeapothecary.co.uk  Connect with Kylie, and become part of Witchy Woo: Join the Patreon Membership for just £3.50 (+VAT) - HERE Facebook (I would love to connect!) - HEREJoin the Witchy Woo Magickzine Family (magazine subscription) - Use code PODCAST for a cheeky little discount 😉 - HERE 🔥 A Huge thank you to all of our sponsors, that help to make this podcast possible: The Strange Apothecary Cheryl RoseOn Point HealingNureleyaRhythm Poetry, by Spiritual Sisters Collective...

Send me a text message You can have people around you constantly and still feel like nobody fully sees you underneath it all! Especially, when you don't fully recognise your bloody gorgeous self! In this episode, we’re talking about the kind of loneliness that doesn’t come from physically being alone, but from spending years shape-shifting, masking and becoming who everybody else needed you to be just to feel accepted. We’re diving into emotional loneliness, people pleasing, nervous system survival, craving depth, feeling misunderstood and the exhausting reality of living half-hidden from the world around you.Because eventually everybody knows the version of you that survives…but hardly anybody knows the version of you that’s real, including YOU!! Soooooooooo many spiritually sensitive women are carrying loneliness that actually began with disconnection from themselves. Send me a text message In this episode, I’m joined by Minister Hannah Strange and Fairy Godmother, Jess Gelling, founders of the 16(18)-times award-winning wellness brand, The Strange Apothecary, Ministry of Pharmakeia, for a conversation that's funny, raw, honest and unexpectedly emotional in all the best ways. We dive into courage, confidence, self-doubt, intuition, visibility, building a business and the realities of creating something meaningful whilst simultaneously wondering whether you’ve completely lost the plot! Along the way, we explore the witch wound, the stories women are taught about playing small, and why so many of us spend years waiting for permission to become who we already are. S4:E3 - True Crime Style Witch Trial Story of Alice Kyteler & Petronilla, in 1324 Ireland

Send me a text message In 1324, a wealthy Irish woman named Alice Kyteler was accused of witchcraft, heresy, demon worship and poisoning her husbands. Not looking good for Alice, right!? But underneath the dramatic accusations sat something soooooooo much deeper - power, money, inheritance, religion, fear, and society’s discomfort around women who refused to stay small! In this episode, we’re diving into one of the most fascinating and politically charged witch trial stories in history, unpacking the case of Alice Kyteler, the women around her, and the devastating reality of who often paid the price when fear and power collided. Because historically, women were rarely accused of being witches simply because of “magick”, they were simply not too easy to control by the men in charge! Join me as I tell Alice's, and Petronilla's story. Let's give these women voices and start healing the Witch Wound that runs so deep!
