    Ep 82: What to Expect at Your First Mammogram | Wahoo Chamber Chat

    October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, so Kate and Kat sat down with Jade Lohr, lead mammographer at Saunders Medical Center, to talk about something women put off way too often: taking care of themselves. Jade explains what really happens during a mammogram (spoiler: it takes less than 15 minutes). She covers when to start screening and how often to go, and why the American College of Radiology and the American Cancer Society have slightly different guidelines. She also shares what to skip the morning of your appointment, and how close to home and quick it is to get screened right here in Wahoo. Bonus: you can fit it in on your lunch hour.     Ep 80: CASA of the Midlands: Helping Children in Saunders County, Nebraska

    What does it really mean to be a CASA volunteer and how can just a few hours of your time make a lasting difference in a child’s life? In this episode of Chamber Chat with Kate & Kat, we sit down with Happy Aldana, Executive Director of CASA of the Midlands, to learn more about the work Court Appointed Special Advocates do for children involved in the juvenile court system.
